Two months later.
The issue between Bongbong and Leni eventually died after Atty. Claire clarified it. People believed everything she said knowing how far fetched the issue was.
Bongbong and Leni continued to hide their relationship from the people, but not to some politicians. It's kinda open secret among peers.
"Good morning, Mr. President!" Mayor Isko shook Bongbong hands the moment he saw him.
Bongbong gladly shook his hand, "Good morning, Mayor!"
"Kumusta, ser? Balita ko masaya ang love life natin dyan ah!" Isko teased. "Ayos yung bakasyon nyo ni Madam!"
Bongbong tapped Isko's arm, "Wala! Pa-issue ka!"
They both laughed.
"Ang dami ng nakakaalam, ser! Matagal ko ng napapansin na kursunada nyo ang isa't-isa dati pa kaya hindi na ako nagulat." Isko shared.
Bongbong just laugh. He then realized, "Ganon ba ka halata?"
Isko laughed as well, "Oo ser! Iba yung mga tingin eh! Kahit magkaaway kayo, ramdam ko pa rin yung tensyon! Iba yung kaba!"
Bongbong laughed again. "Secret lang natin yan!"

Leni lead the meeting with the City Engineering's Office, MSWD, and other departments. They've been going on for almost four hours.
Raffy who's inside the meeting room had the chance to whispered something to Leni when the lead engineer took over, "Ma'am, nag text po yung grab driver nyo."
Leni instantly looked at Raffy, "Ano daw sabi?"
"Hindi daw po kayo sumasagot sa mga text nya." Raffy showed his phone.
Leni just nodded. "Sabihin mo nasa meeting ako. Mamaya nalang."
Raffy just nodded. He's well aware of Leni and Bongbong's relationship ever since it started. He knew he's THE grab driver that constantly appears on Leni's screen.
It's already 12 noon when Leni was able to reply to Bongbong's messages;
To: Grab Driver 12:17
Sorry hon. Katatapos lang ng meeting ko. Nag lunch ka na po?
From: Grab Driver 12:18
It's okay, hon. Katatapos ko lang mag lunch. Ikaw?
To: Grab Driver 12:22
Lunch palang. I'll call you nalang mamayang gabi. Busy kasi talaga. I love you 😘
From: Grab Driver 12:22
Okay po. I miss you. Take care. I love you!

It's already 9pm when Leni clocked out from the office. She took a selfie with Raffy, Babet, and Ray-an and send it to Bongbong. She said she's just going home. He replied and told her to call him when she gets home.
It's already 10pm when Leni was able to call Bongbong. She's already in bed, ready to sleep. "Hello, honey ko!"
"How are you, hon? Ang late mo na nakauwi ngayon."
"Ang dami ko kasi inasikaso hon. Sorry. Alam mo naman malapit na ang fiesta dito. First fiesta ko 'to as mayor so I want everything to go smoothly."
"It's okay. I understand naman. Basta huwag mo pabayaan sarili mo. Mag rest ka rin, hon, please."
"Yes po. Ikaw, kumusta ka?"
"Okay naman. As usual, busy din. I've meet Isko tooday. Tinutukso ako about saating dalawa. Alam nya daw dati pa na may something saatin."
"Hmm? Really?! Ganon ba kahalata?"
"Yan din nga sinabi ko. Di ko rin inexpect na sasabihin nya yun kanina. Sabi ko nalang secret nalang muna."
"Sus! Baka mamaya i-chismis nya!"
"Hahaha hindi hon! Hayaan mo na yun."
There's a silence for a few second.
"I miss you, hon."
"I miss you too. Kailan tayo magkikita? Namimiss na talaga kita, hon."
"Actually, yan din ang iniisip ko. Kasi sobrang busy ko talaga eh."
"Kahit weekend lang, hon or kahit ilang araw. Birthday ko na next week baka nakalimutan mo."
"Yeah... about that."
"Leni, don't tell me na hindi ka magpapakita saakin sa birthday ko?"
"I'm sorry, hon! Fiesta week na kasi yan eh. Kailangan ako dito. Traslacion procession yan eh sakto sa birthday mo. I'm sorry."
"Ako nalang ang pupunta dyan. Isasama ko ang mga bata para sama-sama tayo sa birthday ko."
"Ha? Eh paano yung birthday party mo? Baka magalit ang mommy mo tsaka mga kapatid mo na nandito ka saakin sa birthday mo."
"It's okay. I'm sure they'll understand. Besides, sawa na 'ko sa party. Ang daming bisita palagi. Nakakapagod."
"Pag pumunta kayo dito ng mga bata, baka hindi ko rin kayo maasikaso kasi nga busy ako. Tsaka mag aattend ako ng procession, hon."
"Edi sasama na rin kami sa prusisyon."
"Bongbong naman, edi nakita ka ng mga tao na kasama ko?! We can't risk that. Kakamatay lang nga ng Subic issue natin tapos eto ka na naman."
"Hon, I'm trying to compromise here. Gusto ko kasama ko kayo ng mga bata sa birthday ko. Pagbigyan mo naman ako kahit sa araw lang na yun."
"Eh busy nga ako, Bong! Hindi ko naman pwedeng hatiin ang katawan ko para mapagbigyan ka! May mga responsibilidad ako dito alam mo naman yan!"
"Kahit ngayon lang, Len, ako naman muna ang pagbigyan mo."
She sighed.
There's a minute of silence between them. Until he spoke again,
"Sige na. Bukas nalang ulit tayo mag-usap. Baka pagod ka na."
"Sige na, good night."
"I love you."
"I love you."
