VII. Mayor Leni

"Ma, trending kayo ni Tito Bong!" Jillian showed her phone to her mom who just got home with Bongbong.

Bongbong and Leni frowned as they wore their glasses to read what's on Jillian's phone.

"Oh my god!" Leni reacted. She frowned at Bongbong, "Nag post ka sa instagram?!"

Bongbong frowned at her, "Nag post ka?"

"Same po kayo nag post." Jillian commented.

Apparently, they both posted a picture that they were in a yacht in Subic. Netizens were quick to notice how the posts were somewhat similar making it trending on social media.

"Bakit di ka nagsabi na nag post ka pala?" Leni asked  Bongbong.

"Eh dati naman hindi ako nagsasabi sayo kung mag popost ako ng pictures diba? Hindi ko naman alam na mag popost ka rin pala. Di mo ba nakita yung post ko?" He asked.

Leni rolled her eyes, "Hindi malamang! Hindi naman tayo nag fofollowan sa social media. Tsaka hindi ko naman tinitignan ang mga post mo."

Aika and Jillian looked at their mom, "Parang nakakahurt ka naman ng feelings ma." Aika commented.

"Kaya nga." Bongbong agreed.

"Eh alangan naman stalk kita palagi sa social media. Hindi na tayo mga bata para sa mga ganyan." Leni argued.

"So, ano na po ang gagawin nyo?" Jillian asked. "Trending po kayo sa twitter. Sabi po magkasama daw kayo nagbakasyon sa Subic, which is true naman."

Bongbong and Leni thought about it for a while. They both figured that deleting the post will not be beneficial for them. They just need to find a better alibi.

Until, Bongbong's phone rang. It was the head of his PR team. He answered it and put it on speaker so Leni would hear it too. After a couple of minutes, they were able to form an excuse of why they're both in Subic at the same time.

"So, sasabihin ni Atty. Claire na kasama mo si Sandro dun?" Leni confirmed after the call.

Bongbong nodded. "Anyway, may nagpapicture saakin dun sa lobby diba? Ako lang naman ang nandun at hindi ka naman nakita, so pwede rin na proof yun."

She nodded. "Paano pag may mga reporters na nagtanong saakin?"

"Just tell them na kasama mo ang mga bata. Payag naman sina Aika na gamitin mo sila as alibi diba?" Bongbong said.

Leni nodded. She know that this might work, but there's still a slight worry in her heart.

Bongbong hugged her tight, "It's gonna be okay, I promise. Sila na bahala mag ayos nito."

She nodded.

"Dun na tayo sa taas para maka-rest na tayo. May flight ka pa mamaya." He said. Leni's flying to Naga in the evening.

She just nodded and went upstairs.

They both lay down in bed after shower to rest. Leni hugged him tight, resting her head on his chest.

"Anong plano natin, Bong?" She asked.

"Yun na nga. Sasabihin ni Atty. Claire sa next presscon na si Sandro ang kasama ko s—"

She cut him off, "Hindi. Hindi dun. I mean, anong plano natin sa relasyon natin?"

He frowned at her, "Well, gusto ko magpakasal tayo pero ayaw mo naman. Sabi mo enjoy enjoy nalang diba?"

She glared at him, "Ferdinand naman! Seryoso nga ako!"

"Seryoso naman ako ah! Gusto kitang pakasalan. Gusto kong maging tatay ng mga anak mo. Hindi naman ako nagbibiro. Ikaw lang naman ang hinihintay ko." He argued.

She went silent and closed her eyes. She's too tired to argue.

He sighed, "Ni pag-usapan yung kasal ayaw mo na."

"Bongbong, please, huwag tayong mag-away ngayon!" She snapped.

He sighed and just closed his eyes.

Few hours later, Leni woke up leaving Bongbong still sleeping. She changed her clothes and checked her bags, putting her changer inside it.

"Hon?" He mumbled.

She looked at him, "Gising na. Aalis na 'ko."

He scratched his eyes and slowly sat up. "Sorry, ang haba ng tulog ko."

She sat beside him and cupped his face, "It's okay. Alam kong pagod mag drive." She kissed his lips.

He hugged her tight. "Maghihiwalay na naman tayo."

"Hmm" She uttered. "Sanay naman na tayo diba?"

"Hindi rin at ayaw kong masanay." He uttered.

She smiled at him, leaning over to kiss him again. "I love you, hon."

"I love you more." He kissed her back.

"Sorry kung inaway kita kanina bago tayo natulog." She pouted.

"It's okay. Alam mo naman na susunod lang ako sa gusto mo." He smirked.

She chuckled and straddle him. She cupped his face, "I'm so lucky to have you."

"Mas maswerte ako." He gripped her waist.

She blushed and hugged him again.

This time, they made sure to hold each other a little longer.
