The arrest warrant for Ward had been signed by Judge Thornton, and the pogues were on their way to Tannyhill. At least four police cruisers with their lights and sirens on flew past the Twinkie.

"Shit," Kie whispered.

"Oh, my God," Sarah let out. "Can you please hurry. I need to be there for Wheezie."

"You think I wanna miss this?" John B raised a brow, causing Sarah to send him an incredulous look.

John B came to a stop behind all the parked police cars and everyone got out, peaking over the wall lining the estate.

"Screw it, I'm going over," John B said before hopping over the wall.

"Right behind you," JJ said.

Wyatt sent one look at Sarah, nodded, and hopped over as well with a lift from JJ.

Pretty soon, all of the pogues were on the estate, racing up to the house. Wheezie and Rose were there.

"Wheezie," Sarah breathed, hurrying over to her sister and giving her a hug.

"Why are the police here again?" Wheezie asked.

Sarah told her something and the girl went back inside with Rose.

The crew found where the cops were congregated on the dock and ran down to join them. Ward was on the top level of the Druthers, nice shirt, drink in his hand while he confessed his sins.

"Dad!" Sarah called.

The cops didn't even try to stop them from getting to the dock.

"That's Sarah Cameron, let her through," Shoupe called to his men.

"What are you doing here, Sarah?" Ward yelled from the ship.

"Dad, what are you doing?"

"Vic, you gotta get her outta here! She can't be here right now!"

"Just come on in and you– you can talk to her!" Shoupe told the man.

The anchor started to rise and Sarah pleaded for her father to stop.

"Ward, this ain't gonna end the way you want it to!" Shoupe yelled as more police in boats rushed up to the Druthers from afar. "You don't need her seeing this!"

Ward climbed down to the second level as Sarah continued to plead. He yelled that he loved her and ran inside, while Shoupe shouted for Ward to come down to the dock.

Nothing happened for a moment, and then, boom. The ship exploded into a floating fiery inferno.

Sarah seemed to have lost her breath as she wailed for her father. "No, no. Dad! No!"
