━︎━︎━︎━︎𝐎𝐋𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐀 𝐋𝐄𝐓 𝐎𝐔𝐓 an amused laugh as she watched her daughters. Their powers had been developing amazingly and whenever they had the chance and weren't focused on school work they were in the training room, doing everything they could to control their powers even more than they already had. Olivia had told them that they didn't have to, that they could be kids and play and get into stuff they weren't supposed to, but this was their definition of fun and if Olivia was being honest with herself she wasn't sure whether or not to be worried.

Rhodey stood there beside of her, watching the two girls with a small smile gracing his face. He glanced over at Olivia, noticing how tense her shoulders were. He reached out, placing a hand on her shoulder making her turn her head to look at him. She offered him a tight lipped smile before looking back over towards her children. Nothing was said between the two as they watched Amethyst and Ivy start to playfully attack one another, both girls laughing.

"Liv, you alright?" Concern seeped into his words. "Your shoulders seem to be a little too tense to be watching your girls play around." He turned his body towards her, arms crossed over his chest as if he were about to interrogate her. "If you're worried about Natasha and the others, they're going to be just fine. You do realize that your girlfriend is a hardass ex-Russian assassin, right?"

Olivia managed a small smile at that, nodding her head in response. "Yeah, I know. But you know me, always the worrier." Her eyes glanced towards her watch before letting out a whistle, grabbing the twelve year old's' attention. "Come on. It's been two hours. That's enough rough housing. Go wash up, I'm going to start some lunch."

     "But mom," Ivy whined.

"No buts." Olivia shook her head. "Up."

Both girls sighed in defeat. "Okay." They made their way past her, greeting Rhodey in the process before racing towards the elevator.

Olivia watched both girls with a small smile before turning her head to look at Rhodey. "You're welcome to lunch as well." Rhodey smiled but waved her off, shaking his head. Olivia hummed. "Okay, your loss. For your information, I make a mean turkey sandwich."

"You're almost tempting." Rhodey joked earning a laugh of amusement from Olivia before she turned on her heel and walked away from him. She made her way to the second floor kitchen, putting together some lunch for her girls. She placed the sandwiches and chips on a tray before making her way towards the biggest room in the building―︎the one Tony had given Natasha and Olivia after they had created their own little family.

Olivia used her powers to open the door, stepping inside and closing the door with her foot. "Food!" Immediately two sets of feet came running in. They each took a plate before sitting down on the couch and cutting on the television. When the news popped up of an incident happening in Lagos, Olivia immediately froze. "Amy, turn that up." Amethyst did as she was told.

"Isn't that where Mom is?" Ivy asked with a frown.

"Yeah. . ." Olivia trailed off, listening as the reporter claimed that a few Wakandans had been killed in the explosion that had been set off by Wanda. Fear started to eat her alive and although she desperately wanted to hear more, she knew that they didn't need to hear it or see it. "Change the channel." Amy opened her mouth to protest but with one look from Olivia she closed her mouth and quickly put on some cartoons. "Girls, stay in here. I'll be back."

Olivia made her way from the room, walking down the hall before watching as the elevator opened to reveal Natasha. She couldn't help the relieved breath that left her lips. She hurried her footsteps in order to reach Natasha. When she got to her she pulled her in for a hug and Natasha quickly hugged her back. Olivia pulled away, brushing the hair from Natasha's face and scanning her for injuries.

     "How's Wanda?" Olivia softly whispered.

Natasha sighed, shaking her head. "She's shaken. Blames herself for what happened. She was doing so good, Liv. I guess handling that bomb Rumlow tried to use to kill Steve was just too much for her. She lost control and. . . we got hit hard on this one. They're starting to make us out to be the enemies." Natasha gave Olivia a kiss, letting her body relish in the feeling for just a second before she pulled away. "How're the girls?"

Olivia started towards their room, grabbing Natasha's hand as she did so. "They're good. They trained for two hours. They didn't even want to leave long enough to eat, but I made them. They're starting to like that training room all too much. I know they need to learn how to control their powers and I'm not against that whatsoever, but I just want them to be kids and not be thrown into our crazy life. Being heroes is great and all until it isn't."

"I guess they're about to see the bad side of it." Natasha mumbled, not liking the idea of her two daughters ever having to go through something that they went through every day of their lives. Natasha opened the door and stepped in first, a smile forming on her face when she saw them. "So focused on the cartoon they don't even notice me. Can you believe this?"

Ivory perked up first, a wide smile falling on her face. "Mommy!" The blonde girl quickly ran towards Natasha, arms wrapping around her waist. Ivy looked up at her with a wide smile and Natasha smiled back, leaning down and pressing a kiss to her forehead. Amethyst soon joined, Ivy getting out of the way so that her sister could hug Natasha as well.

"I missed you both so much." Now both girls were hugging her. Natasha looked away from them and looked at Olivia who was watching the entire interaction with a smile. "I missed you too." The two girls pulled away and went back to their show. Natasha turned towards Olivia, walking closer to her. "I'm going to take a shower. . . if you care to join." Olivia smirked, grabbing her hand and glancing at the kids as Natasha dragged her away. It was a moment of bliss before all hell decided to break loose.
