━︎━︎━︎━︎𝐎𝐋𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐀 𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐋𝐃𝐍'𝐓 𝐇𝐀𝐕𝐄 been surprised by the news, but when he said the words out loud a new kind of fear developed in her veins. She didn't know his weaknesses. She didn't know what his powers were. Suddenly, this situation had gone from bad to terrible and she didn't know how to escape. She should've just listened when Allison told her they should leave, but she was to busy being hellbent on revenge.
Alexander smiled. "I see that I have your attention." He cleared his throat, walking further into the room. "After both of you were gone, it was just me. And I got bored and decided that it wasn't fair for me to give these astonishing gifts to my daughters without receiving them myself. But something went wrong."
He rolled up his sleeve, revealing black veins. "I gave myself the power to heal, but it didn't come without a price. I was trying a new experiment you see, and well it didn't go the way I had planned. Now I have this. I'm dying."
Allison shared a look with Olivia before crossing her arms over her chest, cocking her head slightly to the side. "And we're supposed to feel sympathy for you?"
"No. I brought you here for a reason." Alexander sat on the table, his eyes darting to his youngest. "I wish you had gone for the head."
Allison scoffed, looking at her sister in disbelief. "You didn't shoot him in the head?"
"Well, I wasn't exactly expecting him to heal, Allison. I was hoping he'd bleed out." Olivia shook her head, pinching the bridge of her nose. "You said you led us here for a reason."
"I want you to kill me."
Olivia rose her brows while Allison chuckled. "Well, you don't have to tell me twice."
Olivia stopped her sisters advancements. "Why would we do that for you?"
"Mercy has always been something you were good at, Olivia. I am your father after all."
Olivia laughed humorlessly. "Mercy? Where was your mercy when you strapped me down to that table and injected me with your experiments? Where was mercy when you went after mom and ruthlessly killed her? No. You don't deserve mercy."
Alexander shook his head. "I'm giving you want you want. You want me dead, so kill me."
"No. No, I want you to suffer." Her eyes didn't move from her father as she said to Allison, "Call the police."
Allison snapped her head towards her sister. "Need I remind you, we're both wanted criminals. If they come, he won't be the only one that's arrested."
"Don't worry. We'll be long gone by the time they get here."
Allison opened her mouth but decided against it, turning and making her way out of the basement. Alexander chuckled, shaking his head. "You truly are your father's daughter."
Olivia smiled. "No. I'm nothing like you. My daughters will never be treated the way you treated us. They will know what it's like to be loved and cared for." She slowly started moving towards him until she was standing right in front of him. Her claws came out as she quickly gripped the back of his neck causing him to grunt in pain as her claws began to pierce his skin. "You are a sorry pathetic excuse for a human being and I'm gonna make sure the world knows it."
She sent a punch to his face, the sound of his nose breaking echoing through the room. She kneed him in the gut before slamming his head on the metal table. She stepped back, watching in satisfaction as he fell to the ground. She pulled out her gun, examining it. The sound of his pain was satisfying. She turned her head. "This is mercy." She aimed her gun and before she shot it, she paused. "Why is there an exact replica of my old room?"
"This whole house is a replica." He replied through shaky breaths. "It reminds me of simpler times."
Olivia hummed. "Simpler times." She shot the gun, sending the bullet right through his thigh. He cried out and tried to pull away from her. She shot the gun, sending the next bullet into his other leg. The next one went through his right shoulder and then his stomach. When she was out of bullet's, she replaced her gun. She walked up to him, kneeling before him. Blood began to pour out of his mouth and all she could do was smile, her eyes narrowing in mock concern. "Don't worry, you'll heal."
Allison came running in the room. "Olivia?! Are you okay? I heard. . . gunshots." She trailed off when she saw the scene before her.
"Cops on their way?" Olivia asked. Allison nodded. "Good. Help me lift him up." Allison walked over and together the two of them lifted him up, placing him on the metal table. Olivia met his eyes. "Let's see how you like being chained up." She began restraining him against the table with Allison following suit.
He kept thrashing and thrashing, one of the bullets from her gun already removing itself from his skin. "No! No, no, no! It wasn't supposed to go like this!"
"No, it wasn't." Olivia agreed. "But I think this turned out much better than we planned." She looked at her sister. "Don't you think?"
"I agree." The sound of sirens could be heard in the distance. "Liv, we gotta go."
Olivia nodded before looking at her father one last time. "I'm so glad we had this family reunion. I think we should do it again sometime."
As she and Allison began walking away, Alexander began screaming out in protest. "You bitch! I ask one thing from you! One! And you fuck it up! You're a screw up, just like your mother!"
Olivia paused. She slowly turned and looked at him before she said, "And who made me that way?" Then, she walked out. The sounds of his screams of anger echoed throughout the entire house and just as the two slipped out the back door, the cops came through the front. They transformed, running off towards the woods, jumping the gate before turning and watching the scene before them.
They watched as their father was dragged out of the house by two cops, his screams never once stopping, even as he was placed in the back of the police car. Artic snorted as Shadow licked her chops before the two wolves turned and left the crime scene.
