Chapter 44

I was currently sitting in the counselors office, trying not to shake. I wanted to cry so badly. "Ok Delilah I reviewed all your information and your all set to submit." Oh god.

Here it goes, I click the submit button and cheers a claps are heard. Deep down I'm an emotional mess. The overwhelming feeling hit me. Four years of my hard work is almost going to pay off.

I realized that I'm growing up and going to college. The sudden realization that I'm not ping to be 17 forever terrified me. I'm scared of change and growing up. It's a dead I don't know how to describe. I'm excited for my future but hate how out of control I am of thing changing around me.

I exit the counselors office and see Nikolai leaning on the wall with a smile on his face. He hugs me and kisses my forehead. "Congratulations. My girl is going to college. Such an intelligent girlfriend I have." I laugh and we walk to our class.

I spent the whole class time trying to help Nikolai with the math worksheets when in reality I knew he was acting confused on purpose. The kid always got perfect scores on his math tests. He's a genius and n attention seeker.

After school I went Christmas shopping with Nikolai, we got some cute matching mugs and Christmas pjs. I also bought early Christmas gifts. He dropped me off home and waited till I got inside the house before he drove away.

When I enter the house an amazing smell hit me. I walk to the kitchen and see my mom making enchiladas. My favorite, I go and hug her and she gives me a big smile. "I making your favorite congratulations mija I'm so proud of you for submitting your college applications."

We spent the day talking and watching movies together as a family. I love moments like these when we can finally catch up and spend time together.

I go and walk nova followed by the twins. "You know every time I see you and Nikolai I want to jump into oncoming traffic." I laugh and shove him. "There has to be someone you like, Elijah."

He rolls his eyes and Alessandro let's out a breathless laugh. "There's this one guy but both are too pussys to admit their feelings for each other." I gasp and squeal in happiness for my brother. He rolls his eyes and pushes me into a bush.

Alessandro Bursts out laughing. "Heyyy, what the heck!" I struggle getting out the bush nova looking at me with her head tilted had a small smile on her cute dog face.

The boys help me get up, and we walk back home. We all go to our rooms and nova plops into her bed. My little snowball.

I head into my shower and when I come out I change into my pjs. I FaceTime Cynthia and she picks it up with a smile on her face

"Hey so Friendsgiving is at my house at five, I'm so excited."

"Ok so let me get this straight, Jessica the cheerleader slept with mark her twin sister's boyfriend. And her sister caught them. But now Jessica is pregnant!" Cynthia nods. Damn.

"Damn, anything else?" We both gossip and I was left in shock. When we hang up I hear little whines. I look over at nova who was trying to jump on my bed.

I pick her up and cuddle with her. I turn off my little lamp before texting Nikolai.

I laugh and go to sleep.
