I'm currently angry right now, it's midnight and I'm tired, I don't know what Nikolai is thinking making me lose my precious sleep. He texted me to get ready and when I didn't answer he called me. Five times!
I'm dressed in blue jeans with a pink sweater. I'm currently falling asleep sitting on my bed. Nikolai texts me he's outside and I groan. I bring my small purse and my blanket.
I head downstairs and lock the doors. I was home alone the twins are at a friends house and mom was working the er again. I step outside and cover myself with my blanket since it was freezing cold, I'm going to kill Nikolai.
I see him leaning against his car with his arms crossed. He's looks good, nope I'm mad at him. He smiles at me and I glare him. He chuckled and opened the door for me. Once I sit down he stares at me and leans down. I glare at him and turn my head looking the other way.
He grabs my chin gently. I look at him and open my mouth to say something. "You have the nerve to be smiling at me when you woke me up at midnight, I swear I'm going to freaking murder you in your sleep Nikolai." He smiles and kisses me. Ok I'm not mad anymore.
"Are you still mad at me malysh?" I mumble a no and he kisses my forehead. He buckled me in and made sure I was covered by my blanket. He then closes my door and heads to the drivers seat. I stare at him in disbelief. "I know it's late but you can sleep on the drive there. You'll love this surprise baby."
I hum and turn the music up I lean against the window and look at Nikolai he seems so calm right now, he's perfect. I shut my eyes and fall asleep. I was awoken when the car stopped. I open my eyes to see Nikolai rubbing his eyes and I felt bad knowing he didn't sleep.
He looks at me and gives me a small smile. He exits the car and comes towards my side. I noticed there were multiple cars around us as well, where are we?. I grabbed his hand and kiss his knuckles he looked down at me and the looks in his eyes made me feel shy all of a sudden.
"I'm sorry for being mad at you. You want a kiss?" I look at him and he whispers a da. I tiptoe but he still had to bend down a little. I kiss him deeply trying explain all the feelings I feel for him
When I pull away he smiles at me and leads me towards a field. I see multiple people here I gasp in excitement and I look at Nikolai. I love him so much god my heart wants to burst. He brought me to a lantern festival.
He hands me a marker and the lantern. "Do you know how badly I want to kiss you right now. God you're so perfect. You're killing me Nik. Ugh my heart." I hug him so tightly. And hugs me back, "I know how much you love tangled and I wanted to recreate this scene for you I know it's not in a lake but this is the closest thing I found. Hope you like it malyshka."
"I love it thank you so much, mi amor." He smiles at the nick name I gave him. I lean against his chest as I write our names on the lantern. He writes in Russian and I don't understand it. After we finished writing on our lantern. I take a picture of it.
I take a picture of us together. And we light the candle. We hold the lantern and as soon as everyone finishes the countdown we both let go of the lantern. I was staring an awe of how beautiful the sky looked. I look at Nikolai and lean up to him to give him a kiss. "I can't keep it in any longer I have to confess." He furrows his eyebrows.
"I love you Nikolai. always have. God you make me crazy." He stares at me and I want to start crying. I don't handle rejection well. He blinks and full blown smiles. He kisses me deeply and spins me around while he carried me. "Say again" I laugh and look at his beautiful eyes. "I love you."
He nuzzled his head on the crook of my neck and peppered small kisses making me sigh in content. "You don't know how long I've waited for you to say those words. I am so incredibly deeply in love with you Delilah, truly in love, you fascinate me every day." I smile at the words he said.
I'm going to ugly cry. I love him and he loves me there was no other perfect way for me to confess to him. This moment truly is one of my favorites with him. "Hamburgers and French fries to finish off our date?" He really does love me.
"Da lets go." I grab his hand and lead him to the exit. When we arrive to the car he never once let go of my hand. I've never been happier. When we arrive to a dinner I smile to myself I'm going to eat good.
He opens the door for me and we sit down on a booth. "You want to cuddle with me no one's home." I look at him after putting my menu down. "Of course." I smiled and ordered my food when the waiter came. The night was perfect, when we got home we changed into comfy clothes
Nova barked in excitement when she saw Nikolai. We all cuddled in my bed. "Thank you for tonight mí amor, te amo. Goodnight baby sweet dreams." I kiss his jaw and he hums in content.
