Alex stands on the stage, he's fumbling with his shirt, he's anxious, he picks a song and the countdown from 5 begins.
All my loving by Sam Fischer starts playing and the crowd is instantly hushed as Alex sings.
He starts nervously and than eases into it, the crowd is suddenly going crazy, I see someone filming.

Alex is grinning as he sings the song and the world fades as Alex keeps his gaze on me.

I'm a wreck, broken down

The crowd burst into cheers and applause, Alex does a small bow and places the mic back.
"That ladies and gentlemen is how karaoke should be done, let's hear another round of applause for Alexander Sullivan." The crowd is clapping for Alex as he steps down from the stage, I try to squeeze myself in between people so I can get to him but than someone grabs my arm and someone trips me.
Before I can fall face down Alex is holding me up.

But than the red haired girl is gripping Alex's arm and trying to get tug him towards her.
Someone was filming us, my lungs start squeezing themselves, the walls are closing in.
Alex cups my cheek. "Please don't hate me for this." He says with a small smile and than his lips are connecting with mines.
The world freezes, I freeze than fireworks explode and I'm filled with this feeling of completion, my eyes flutter close at the overwhelming emotions the course through my veins.
Alex pulls back but keeps his forehead against mines, our breaths mingle at the proximity and I have to grasp his hand so my legs don't collapse.

The bar was cheering, I caught the girls giving me ugly looks but in that particular moment I didn't care.
Alex caresses my cheek. "I had to get them off my back, I had to ground myself." I nod unable to form words. "You're not going to hate me for the kiss right?" I shake my head and Alex sighs relieved and pulls back, he grasps my hand and takes me back to our table, he orders our food for takeaway.
In a few minutes we're walking out of the place with our takeaway in hand. "Did I ruin things between us?" Alex asks. "I swear that was not my intention, those girls were getting on me and I needed to get them to back off."
