Following week, that evening
Xiao raced ahead and teleported after the abyss demon.
Icy rain began to fall as we continued to walk forward.
Felix and Bangchan decided to stay back to make sure we weren't being followed.
"Wait in the car." Xiao nods to me.
The rain suddenly turned to snow.
Blue flames in the air and lit like lanterns around the car.
"翼火 (Yì) Huo." I realized.
I got out of the car, stepping into the cold icy rain.
I touched one and it felt warm with a burning and tiny bit of cold sensation.
A tall masked male with icy mint hair locks walked towards me with a blue parasoul.
He gently reached for my hand and walked me away from the car.
"Dottore." I whispered.
Meanwhile
Huacheng quickly grabbed Xielian's arm to prevent him from walking further into the forest.
"Let's wait." He whispers to Xielian.
My Pov
"I wanted to ask, if you didn't die eons ago, where were you?"
"Since I have many clones, one of my younger clones and myself remained. The young one remained in Teyvat." Explained Dottore.
"Is he here?"
"I can show you the answer. The reason that you never found me in Teyvat, after what happened in Natlan." Replied the Fatui Harbinger.
"Are you sure you want to see the phantom form?" Asked Dottore.
"Yeah its fine. I won't judge." I replied.
"Just shapeshift. We won't laugh. I have a yaksha beast form. You don't get to complain." Xiao crossed his arms at Dottore.
Dottore ordered one of his clones to walk over.
Beta clone hesitantly shifted.
In front of us, was now a shorter boy, without a mask this time.
He looked like he was 19.
"Nice, reminds me of Huacheng's original form." I replied.
Meanwhile
"好可爱，他好像你小时候啊，花城." Xie lian whispers to Huacheng from the bush.
Huacheng immediately clamped a hand over Xielian hoping that they didn't hear.
Unfortunately, Xiao did.
"Whose there?!" Asked Xiao as he looked around.
Both immediately placed on their masks.
The Yaksha drew out his spear while the masked Icy mint haired individual made a claymore appear. They both moved a bit closer to the traveler who had a sword appear in her hand. The shorter clone drew out a dagger.
Back to my pov
"Show yourself now or I will find you myself!" Ordered Xiao.
Huacheng and Xielian appeared before us.
"太子殿下 and 花城, 好久不见. Haven't seen you two for a while." I waved and did a slight bow, followed by hand folded greeting.
"Hello, 太子殿下, 花城." Xiao turns and bows a little too.
