- How did these friends first meet? It started with Kanata going to the jewelry shop to get a gift for her mom. She saw Nao there and he was trying to get an expensive necklace. She looked at it and pointed out the incredible shine it had. Then, Kanata was sitting in the library at school when the Kawakami twins came over to her. They just sat and read their books. So Kanata decided to break the ice. As Kanata was going for her usual prayer at the shrine, she saw Miyoko and Shizuko there. They were admiring the idol statues. Kanata went to admire with them. And that's how they all became friends.
