Emily let out a breath as she stood in the full body mirror in her room. she was a nervous wreck , her clothes was scattered everywhere and her make up products were sprawled onto the desk.

she put her black hair in a high ponytail , and just then , Leo walked in with a smile. "hey amor." he said and scanned his eyes over the room. "hi Leo. i'm sorry , i-i'll clean it" she said , afraid of his reaction.

he walked over to her. "it's alright. i can get someone to clean it , if you want" he suggested and Emily thought about it. "only for today" she said and he smiled widely.

"can i give you a hug?" he asked and with a smile , Emily wrapped her arms around her dad , feeling safe in his arms. his arms were gripping her in a comfortable way and his cologne entered her nostrils.

"okay , come on. breakfast is waiting" Leo said and kissed his littld girl on the forehead.

Emily grabbed her stuff and walked downstairs where everyone was. she glanced at the clock. 7:30 am.

she saw Anto and the kids sitting behind the counter. upon seeing them , the woman smiled widey. "there's our girl" Antonella said.

Emily smiled and took a seat next to Thiago after giving them all pecks on the heads.

"so? are you excited for your first day of school?" Antonella asked and Leo went into the livingroom.

"i'm very nervous , actually." she said and put the sliced bananas in her oats. "it will be fine , Em. plus , Delfi will be there" Antonella said and smiled.

"i want to go to a big school too" Ciro said in a cute voice and Emily chuckled. "when you're older , buddy" she spoke and he smiled cheekily.

Leo walked into the diningroom. "well , princess i took the day off to take you to school. so...eat up" he said and sat next to her.

Emily ate her oats up and Antonella put it all in the sink. she brushed her teeth and came back to the car where everyone was.

she smiled as she thought of how proud her mother would be.

she climbed into the backseat and made sure they were all strapped in before closing the door.

this was going to be Emily's first ever time being in a public school. she had nothing against them , homeschooling was just something that worked for her. though she was always opened to try new things.

"we're here" Antonella said and Emily noticed that the car was no longer moving. Instead , it was parked infront of a huge building that had a dark blue flag on the front.

Emily saw kids walking on the lawn , all in their uniforms.

Emily exited the car , but not before giving her littke brothers kisses on their noses.

Antonella and Leo exited the car with her and they all gave her hugs. "good luck , my princess" Leo said and kissed her cheek.

"if anyone gives you trouble , just know that i take extra boxing lessons" Antonella joked and Emily chuckled before hugging them both.

"morning" they heard Delfina's familiar voice. "morning Delfi" the adults said. "take care of our girl?" Leo asked with a pointed look and Delfina put her right hand over her heart.

"i'll take care of her , my hand to god" Delfi said with a smile. "you look cute in this outfit. i think you're the only one who can make a school uniform look like a fashion design piece" Delfina said ,causing Emily to smile.

Anto and Leo waved at them and entered the car before driving off.

the girls entered the school and Emily took a deep breath before walking through the double doors.
