EMILY FELT A tug on her shoulder and that made her groan. she slowly opened her eyes and rubbed the sleep out of them. she saw Junior waving and smiling at her before sitting back in his seat.

"what the heck , Junior?" she asked. "we're almost landing" he said and Delfi took off her headphones. Emily let out the biggest yawn ever and stretched.

she looked around to see everyone getting ready to leave. she paused her songs and put her airpods away.

"how was the nap?" Junior asked Emily and threw her a bottle of water. "great until you woke me up" she said and took a swig from the bottle.

Junior just shrugged and took out his phone and scrolled through it. Emily looked on her phone to see there was a couple messages on it.

Emily exited his number and answered some more texts from Gavi , Pedri and even Mikky who both her and Delfi grew close with ever since that day at the carnival.

they were soon informed of the jet that was about to land and 10 seconds before ,Mateo went to sit next to her to hold her hand since he knew that she afraid of landings.

Emily smiled at him and her heart swelled at him and how he remembered about it.

Emily held her breath until the jet landed and finally breathed out when it was over. she opened her eyes to see Junior looking at her funny.

"scared of landings?" he asked confused. Delfina only glared at him while Emily shrugged.

the doors finally opened and the adults helped the small children out first. Emily , Delfi and Junior gathered some of their personal belongings before exiting the jet aswell.

as soon as they were out of the jet , Emily felt a soft breeze on her skin and heard a loud groan. she turned to look at Junior who was stretching himself out and Delfi who was rolling her eyes at him.

"i'm so hungry" Junior said and put his arm around Delfi's shoulder , making the younger girl slap it off of her.

"you can eat once we're at home" Emily said and he nodded his head.

"come on , to that car" Leo told the people after they all got their luggages. they all walked to the car and Emily stiffled her laugh when she saw Junior walking behind Delfi like a lost puppy.

she put her luggage in the car before entering the car with Junior , Delfi and the little kids while the adults were in the other car.

Ciro was looking a little sleepy , so Emily pulled him on her lap and rocked him to sleep. "look at you being a big sister" Junior said after he made sure the others were strapped in.

Emily just waved him off and watched as Ciro sleep. she looked a lot like Ciro when she was small and it kind of scared her.

she smiled as she thought about how fast her life had changed. from being a sad little girl who lost her mother , to this amazing family.
