Emily's 15th birthday

EMILY WAS AWOKEN by the yelling of her little brothers. frowning and wiping the sleep out of her eyes , she saw Mateo , Thiago and Ciro jumping on her bed , and Emily smiled and sat up against the headboard. her brothers immediately engulfed her in a hug.

"feliz cumpleaños" they said in unison and Emily smiled as she hugged each and every one of them. "muchos gracias" she said and they smiled before sitting back on the bed.

"here , i made this" Mateo said and handed Emily a cupcake that sat on her nightstand. it was a pink cupcake with the letter E on it and Emily pouted before taking it.

"thank you, Mateo" she spoke and Thiago gave her a paper and a red rose. Emily took the paper before scanning the words — that was wrongly spelt and written messy. Emily was still grateful for it.

"thank you , T" she said and he gave her a smile. Ciro handed her a plastic little box with a white paper. Emily looked at the paper which had 6 people drawn onto them , and a brown dog.

she opened the plastic box to see it was a toy dinosaur. she kept her laugh in but placed the dinosaur next to her other gifts that her brothers got her. "thank you all" she said and gave them all a hug.

the bedroom door opened and Anto and Leo walked in with a huge baby blue coloured cake with had her name written on and the number 15.

Emily watched as they all sat around the bed and sang to her while the cake was placed on her lap. "make a wish" Leo said and she closed her eyes.

I wish to achieve everything i want and to have these people in my life every single day.

Emily opened her brown eyes and blew her candles out as they all clapped hands. "happy birthday ,princesa" Leo said and gave his daughter a hug.

"feliz cumpleaños , mi amor" Antonella said and kissed her forehead. "thank you all , i appreciate this" she spoke and they nodded their heads.

"i want cake" Mateo said , his eyes firmly placed on the cake that was still on her lap. "breakfast first" Antonella said and Mateo scowled but followed his mother's orders.

"breakfast is ready , we'll wait for you downstairs" Leo said and Emily nodded her head. she handed the cake to Leo and they all exited the rolm , giving the girl her space.

the dark haired girl looked at her alarm clock to see it's 7:15 and she needed to be at school at 8:15.

she had actually been enjoying being at the private school she enrolled at when they moved here. she had made a friend or two and of course everyone knew her , but they were giving her the space she needed.

she opened her curtains , letting the sun pour into her room. she placed her uniform on her bed and stepped into the warm shower , scrubbing her body with the berry scented soap and body scrubs.

she then got out and dried herself. she walked to her bedroom and took her uniform and walked back to her bathroom. she got dressed in her uniform , making sure it was appropriate and walked back to her room.
