EMILY CAME BACK from another tiring day at school. she was dressed in some jeans and a cropped hpodie with sneakers as she played FIFA with Mateo and Thiago.
so far , she lost against both of them. "this isn't fair" she said and put the controller on the table. "I win!" Thiago yelled after he succesfully beat his sister in the game.
"oh you think you won?" she asked , standing up and he stood on the couch with a smile. "yeah" he said and Emily ran and tickled him.
Thiago's giggles and laughter filled the whole rom ,making Mateo and Ciro join in.
"are they going to pick you up?" Antonella asked as she walked in and Emily stepped away from Thiago , letting him breath.
"yes , they already picked Delfi up and their on their way here" Emily said and sat next to Anto. "we'll be leaving on Tuesday for Rosarío. Leo and Luis already talked with the principal about it"
Emily nodded her head. "thank you , i'm really so grateful for everything you guys have done" she said and Anto engulfed the girl in a hug. Emily smiled. she hasn't felt a motherly hug in so long.
they heard a car hoot outside and they pulled away from the hug. "they're here" Anto said and Emily stood up and grabbed her phone and purse.
"here" Antonella said and opened her purse to hand the girl over a black card. "you can buy something for you" she said.
Emily immediately shook her head. "no , i'll manage" she said and Antonella gave her a look. "me and Leo both think we need to let you spoil yourself once in a while." Anto said.
"take it and enjoy your day" she said , forcing the card - along with the pin number on it- into Emily's hand.
"thank you" she spoke. there was a knock on the door and the two women walked to the front. Gavi stood there with a smile.
"enjoy your day and Pablo...please let her spoil herself" Anto said and Gavi nodded his head. "I'll make sure of it" he said.
"okay , be safe and put your locations on. oh and Gavi...home by 10" Anto said in a motherly voice.
"promise" he said and Emily followed him to the car. "hey" he said and she looked up at him. "hey , where are we going?" she asked and he smiled.
"a carnival" he said. they walked to the car and Emily saw there were a decent amount of people in it.
"okay , Pedri , out" Gavi said ,looking at Pedri in the passenger seat. Pedri mugged him and smacked his teeth before climbing out.
"only doing what he says cause you're my sister" Pedri said and hugged her. he climbed in the back and Gavi opened the door for Emily to climb in the passenger seat.
he climbed in the driver seat before glancing at the back. "guys , this is Leo's daughter , Emily. Emily this is Sira - Ferran's girlfriend and Frenkie's girlfriend - Mikky. my friends , Luca , David , and their girlfriends - Anita and Ella" he said.
"hi" she said shyly. "hi" they greeted individually with a smile. Emily then greeted Pedri , Ansu , Ferran , Frenkie and Delfi.
they finally drove away and all made small talk and jammed to spanish songs that Gavi had on his phone.
"how long is the ride?" she asked him above all the noise. "not long , just a couple more minutes" he said ,driving and Emily nodded her head.
she laid her head back and jammed to the song that was on the speakers , her mind drifting off a bit.
"so , Emily you got a boyfriend?" Anita asked with a teasing smile and immediately ,Emily blushed. "yes she does." Delfina said.
"who?" Pedri asked with raised brows as he leaned forward. "Enzo" Emily said and Gavi bursted out laughing.
"yeah , she's not joking" Delfina said and Gavi raised his brows. "oh shit ,you're serious" he said and she nodded her head.
"you're dating a Madridog?" Ansu asked , betrayed. "I'm sorry it's just...i really like him" she said and Pedri scoffed.
"you're 14 , Emily. you don't like him. you think you do , but you don't" he said and she frowned.
"what's that supposed to mean?"
before anyone could say anything back , Delfina jumped in. "okay , let's not make this little awesome trip awkward" she nervously said.
"as long as you're happy" Frenkie said and she thanked him before scrolling through her phone.
soon , the car stopped and they all exited the csr. Gavi handed them all their tickets and as soon as they were infront , there were three security guys waiting for them.
"in we go" Mikky said ,excitedly. Emily entered the carnival and she was in awe.
people instantly recognised them and all began taking pictures. Emily felt uncomfortable and Pedri pulled her towards him.
"sorry for what i said in the car" he apologised. "no worries" Emily said with a smile.
"okay this way" Gavi said and Pedri and Emily pulled away from their little hug. people were still taking photos , but the teenagers didn't mind and kept going on their way.
"you hungry?" Mikky asked the girl once they were near a food truck. "starving" she admitted and Mikky turned to the others.
"we're hungry , let's go eat" Mikky said and they all walked towards the food truck.
they finally ordered and as they sat down , Pedri finally looked at Gavi.
"you're paying. I'm not hurting my credit card"
