Anita stepped in front of Caspian. "Loki, wait! He was just leaving."

"No, no. He's not leaving. Not alive, anyway."

"What the hell," uttered Caspian, his eyes wide.

"Please just let him leave! You don't have to do this. Once I'm in Asgard, he won't matter anymore. He won't be able to talk to me anymore."

"I know I don't have to do this. I want to do this. He has been nothing but a pest," he said, beginning to advance towards the both of them.

Anita stood with her arms out, continuing to try to shield Caspian from him.

"A disgusting urchin that just won't go away no matter what you say to him. He should have stayed at that institution but instead, he decided to continue to make a nuisance of himself. Therefore, I will eliminate him."

There was no reasoning with him. She did not try anymore. Instead, she grabbed Caspian by his hand. "Come on!"

She bolted, dragging him along with her. He was barely running, clearly in shock.

She took him to her bedroom and shut the door, locking it behind them. She needed to block the door. That would not stop Loki from entering, she was sure of that. But it would at least buy her some time to figure out what to do. She went over to her dresser and pushed it in front of the door.

She turned her attention back to Caspian. He was pacing back and forth, murmuring to himself the same phrase over and over again. "Holy shit."

She needed to get him out of the house. She could not let him get killed. She glanced around the room wildly. The window caught her eye. She ran over to it, moved aside the curtains and opened it. The house was only one floor so he would be fine if he went out of it.

"Here. You can get out through here!" she said.

He looked at her as if she was insane. "What about you? I can't leave you here with that...that...guy!"

"Forget about me! He doesn't want to hurt me. He wants to hurt you. You need to go now!"

"Oh my shit, I can't believe this is happening. This is not happening. There's no way. I'm dreaming."

They both jumped when Loki started banging on the door.

"Slave, open the door or I'll open it myself."

"Go!" she shouted.

"No!" he shouted back. "I'm not leaving you! I won't let him take you!"

"Go! Just go!"

"Open the door," Loki demanded. "I will not ask again."

"Caspian, if you don't get the hell out of here, I'll push you out the window myself!"

"I'm not going to leave you alone, Anita! I won't let him take you!"

"He will kill you! Don't you understand that?!"

"Alright, I'll let myself in," said Loki.

The door flew open, knocking the dresser over. Loki stepped inside the room, the sharp, silver dagger still in his hand.

"Alright, urchin," he spat at Caspian. "I'm going to make you regret ever coming near my property."

He lunged forward and attempted to stab him. Caspian dodged it. Anita let out a scream.

"Loki, please! Stop!"

He raised his dagger again and tried piercing him with the knife again. Once again, Caspian dodged it.

"Run! Get the fuck out of here!" shouted Anita.

This time, he listened to her and took off, sprinting out of the room, down the hall. Loki marched after him, a determined look across his face. Anita followed quickly behind them.

Caspian was trying to make it to the front door. However, he only made it to the living room before he fell over. He felt as if he had been shoved. He stood back up. Just before he could start running again, Loki came up behind him and grabbed him by the back of his coat. He spun him around so he was facing him. He pushed him backwards until his back was against a wall. Holding him against the wall with one hand, he tried stabbing him again. Caspian let out a yelp and dodged it. He tried yet again. Caspian dodged. Loki growled, growing annoyed.

"Loki, stop!" cried Anita, running up behind him and grabbing him by his arm. "Please, just leave him be!"

He pushed her off of him, using so much force that she fell backwards, landing on her bottom.

"I am going to kill him and you are not going to stop me, wench." He turned his attention back to Caspian. "I guess I'll have to wound you a bit so you will stop dodging my attempts to penetrate you." He put his dagger in the pocket of his black coat and punched him in his stomach. Caspian let out a pained groan.

Anita wanted to try to stop Loki but stopped herself as she began to approach him again. There was no stopping him. There was no fighting him. She resulted to begging. It was the most she could do.

"No! Please, just leave him alone! Leave him alone!" she cried.

Loki disregarded her completely and continued to attack Caspian. He was defending himself surprisingly well which astonished Loki.

"Hmm. Your reflexes are not as slow as I expected. Not bad at defending yourself either. Odd. Were you trained how to fight?" asked Loki, seeming actually fascinated by how Caspian was fighting back so good.

Caspian was confused and even a bit disturbed by his change in mood. He had went from angry to calm and impressed. Just like that.

"No. I just know how to defend myself against assholes like you."

He nodded slowly in response. "Ah. I see."

Then, just like that, he returned to attacking Caspian. He moved quicker and his blows were harder.

Caspian soon could not keep up with each of Loki's jabs and kicks. Out of desperation, he attempted to punch him to slow him down. To his, Loki's and Anita's surprise, he landed it, right in Loki's face.

"Ow," he said. He said it like he had just been pinched, showing just how little it had affected him. He looked Caspian up and down.

"You know, Caspian, I will say I am quite impressed with you. Never have I fought a Midgardian that truly knows how to fight. Not to mention defend themself. You even managed to strike me. Yes, you have been quite the surprise. But..." He grabbed Caspian by his neck. "I am going to have to put an end to our duel."

He kneed him in his groin. Caspian howled in pain and fell to his knees. Then, he punched him fiercely across the face. Caspian fell to the floor with a loud thud.
