Anita didn't know where she would go once she got out of the throne room. The only thing on her mind was getting the hell away from the supposed Loki and Erik, her once classmate that turned out to be a sociopathic hunter.

She could hear Erik getting closer and closer. She was scared to look back to see how close he was but she did it anyway. He was only a few feet away. Her heart leaped. She was about to quicken her pace when suddenly, she collided with something and fell to the pristine white floors.

After taking a moment to recover, she looked up to see what she had ran into.

It was a girl. She was young, likely around the same age as her. Anita quickly noticed how beautiful she was. She had long brown hair. Her eyes were a breathtaking brown and big. Her skin was the same tone as caramel. She was slender but still had a beautiful feminine shape.

The girl had a pained expression on her face. She held on to the lower part of her left leg. For some odd reason, her leg had a brace of some sort made of what appeared to be gold. It ran all the way up to her thigh and stopped at her ankle.

"Good timing, my slave! You stopped my new slave from escaping," said Loki, approaching them, walking past Erik who was just a few feet away from Anita and the girl.

He noticed that the girl was wincing in pain and holding her leg.

"What is wrong, slave?" he asked her.

"Master...my...my leg. It's hurting really bad again. It hasn't hurt like this in a long time," she said.

Her voice was just as beautiful as her. Soft and smooth.

"Come. I will ease your suffering while I finish talking with my new property."

He helped her up and wrapped his arm around her waist. Then he lifted her up and cradled her like a baby. Then he stroked her hair while looking deeply into her eyes. She looked back. After a moment, he started to walk her over to his throne.

"Erik, bring her back over here."

"Yes, my king," said Erik. He seemed a little disappointed that he didn't get to hunt Anita again.

He grabbed her by her arm and forced her to her feet. She struggled to get out of his grasp but he dragged her back to where she had been before with ease.

When they got to the throne, Loki sat down with her still in his arms. He removed something from his pocket. It appeared to be a blue stone.

"Running away will get you nowhere, slave," said Loki to Anita as he began rubbing the stone on the girl's leg. "Even if you had not ran into my other slave, you wouldn't have gotten far."

Anita just stared at him, feeling humiliated, angry and terrified.

"I can assure you, you can not escape from me. Just ask my other slave, Nicole."

Anita was a bit surprised to learn that the other slave's name was just Nicole. She was expecting something far more...ethereal. Like her.

"Nicole tried to escape me before a few years ago. But doing so was a huge mistake. Just look at her leg. She will have to wear this brace for the rest of her days. She strongly regrets making the mistake of trying to get away. She now has learned that it is utterly pointless and will only lead to pain. Much pain. Isn't that right, my slave?"

"Yes Master," said Nicole. Her eyes were closed and a look of relief and pleasure was on her face.

'That must be a healing stone,' said Anita in her head.

"It is. A healing stone," said Loki.

"You...how could you...how did you k-"

"As I said earlier, I know a lot about you. And I'm always learning more."
