Christmas Kiss

"Sunshine, you have to hang the garland, and stop trying to steal a cookie!" Cirrus scolded the smaller ghoulette who was lingering over the cookie trays. Sodo and Swiss laughed at their bandmate while hanging the ornaments on the tree in the common room, "Hey stop eating them!" Rain complained wearing his festive apron covered in flour, "I haven't iced them yet" he made a pouty face at the still frozen ghoulette, Sunshine laughed at his antics and walked around the counter to him, "Okay, okay I'll stop, they're just so good buddy" She then patted the top of his head, earning a purr from the water ghoul. Aether and you walk into the common room carrying a giant brown box that was overflowing with Christmas decorations. You both gently set the box down, Aether was hunched over, panting you on the other hand were fine, "Geez, you are sooooo over dramatic" You pat his back and walk over to Cumulus to help with the tree tinsel, "Shut...up...*wheeze* Y/N" He whispered, finally catching his breath enough to lay on the couch, almost crushing Mountain who was cutting paper snowflakes. Sodo and Swiss step back from the now way too full Christmas tree with their arms crossed, "Looks perfect bud." Swiss said wrapping his arm around the smaller one's shoulders, "It gets better every year" Rain agreed walking over to the pair after wiping his hands on the apron. Mountain stood too, "Good job guys."

Sunshine and Cirrus walk over too, admiring the tree arm and arm. You and Cumulus finish hanging the last piece of garland when she goes to walk over to the group. You grab her arm, she turns looking concerned. You hold your finger to your lips telling her to be quiet and reach into your pocket to pull out the small mistletoe you kept hidden. It was a yearly tradition to make Swiss and Sodo kiss at some point in the month of December. Rain and Aether started it when they were younger and once you came to the ministry they let you in on it too. She nodded with a smirk and you let go of her arm. She pulls out her phone and starts recording, you wiggle the plant in front of the camera then sneak behind the group. Cumulus walks in front of the group, "Picture guys!" She shouts as she pretends to take a photo, you sneak behind Swiss and hold the mistletoe between Swiss and Sodo. You tap Aether's shoulder and he looks to the right, noticing the prank, and starts to laugh.

Everyone now turned their attention to Aether. He points at you and everyone erupts in laughter. Sodo and Swiss blush, "You have to kiss now!" Cumulus announces, the ghouls give each other a very, very quick peck and everyone awws around them. Christmas was here.
