TRIGGER WARNING - MENTION OF SEXUAL ASSAULT
Sodo and Sunshine enter their shared room entangled with each other. Moans and muffled praises fill the dark room. Sodo pushes Sunshine onto the bed, she hits the mattress with a squeak. The fire ghoul lets out a possessive growl, crawling on top of Sunshine, starting to make out with her again.
His hand starts to sneak up her shirt, "Sodo, stop!" Sunshine slightly yelled, pushing the fire ghoul off of her. She curled into herself, turning her body away from her lover. Sodo kneeled beside her, concerned, "Sunny, did I-are you okay?" Sunshine took shaky breaths, trying to stop the tears from overflowing as the memories of past trauma made her sob. Sodo slowly placed a hand on her shoulder, she flinched away, "Sunshine, are you okay?" His hand gently grazed up and down her arm.
A small whimper left her lips, "Baby, what's wrong." He stayed quiet, giving her time to respond. When she didn't, he couldn't handle it anymore. Sodo quickly pulled Sunshine onto his lap, her head laying on his shoulder, "Let it out baby, I'm here for you." He comforted, gently rocking back and forth with Sunshine clinging to herself. Sunshine's eyes were wide, glazed over with fear and memories that Sodo clearly had not known about. She kept mumbling and Sodo kept rocking, she always asked for space to handle issues, but Sodo couldn't leave her, "Sunshine, please, come out of this, talk to me. Baby, I love you." He started to kiss all over her face, squeezing her tighter against him. Her small tremors and noises made his heart shatter.
After a few more kisses and reassuring words, Sunshine whispered, "I'm sorry."
"No, no need to be sorry, baby." Sodo comforts, starting to play with her hair. He kissed her cheek, she purrs, "Now, tell me what happened to you." He slightly begged.
Sunshine looked up into Sodo's fiery eyes. Seeing nothing but love and concern, she starts, "I was...assaulted in my last um...relationship." Tears pricked her eyes again, Sodo wiped the stray ones off of her face, trying to control his anger, "S-Sodo, you're heating up." Sunshine whispers, starting to get slightly burnt by his fingers, "I-I'm sorry, baby." He says, quickly removing his hand from her face, "I'm sorry that I rushed things, I should have talked to you about it." He says taking a deep breath to compose himself. Sunshine gently cupped his face and smashed her lips onto his, "I love you" she mumbled, "I love you more." Sodo teased back, smiling as she giggled.
They spent the night cuddling, gently kissing, and constantly praising each other for how amazing and beautiful the other was. Both drifted off to sleep happy, loved, and closer than before.
