"JUST KILL ME THEN!" You scream at Sister Imperator. She canceled your entire debut tour as Mama Emeritus the First, "Y/n. There will be no killing necessary, please just relax, we have to discuss some things about your relationship with the Ghoul." You stand from your seat, lean forward on the desk, and point your finger in your mother's face, "I swear to Satan, you lay a finger on him, I'll have your neck." She remains unfased by your threat, "You know your brother had a similar relationship to a ghoul" She starts shuffling through papers on her desk. Your jaw clenches, knowing that she was talking about Terzo. He was the best Papa of all four, and he still got slaughtered, "I had to end that." She raises her eyebrows at you, "And if I'm not mistaken, he is a guitarist, similar to Terzo's" You growl, your eye glows with anger, "If you touch him..." You threaten again. Sister only looks at you with a smirk, "What will you do, daughter? What can you possibly do that your brothers have not already tried?" A knock on the door stops any witty response your brain could come up with, "Come in." Sister shouts.

The door opens slowly, Papa Nihil, your father, walks in, "Dad. PLEASE tell mom that I'm ready." You beg, sitting down. Your father pats your head, "I know you are sweetie, but listen to your mother." He sits down slowly, you roll your eyes. Your father was always a pushover when it came to your mother. Your mother smiles at your father and says, "We chose to postpone the tour because you need to be married and you need to have an heir." You scowl at her, "I am NOT getting married and I am NOT having a kid." You argue back. Sister sighs deeply, "If your brothers would not have been stubborn, then you would not be in this position, but here we are." She clasps her hands overtop of the desk, "You are going to marry Asmodeous's son within the week. I expect a grandchild in nine months." You stand and scream, "SO I'M JUST SOME SORT OF INCUBATOR FOR YOU?" You turn to your father, "DAD YOU'RE JUST GOING TO LET THIS HAPPEN?" He looked down at his lap, not uttering a word, "Some fucking parents." you scoff and walk out.

You run down to the Ghoul Catacombs. Going back to your room and being alone would only make all of these emotions worse. You slam open the door to the common room. Aether, Mountain, and Rain look at you, "Satan, Y/n? What's wrong?" Mountain asks, hurrying over to you. You hug his waist, hiding your crying face into his shirt. Mountain hesitated for a moment before hugging you back, "Y/n. You have to tell us what's wrong." Aether says walking over to you two. You only sob harder. Rain walks over and grabs your shoulder, forcing you to turn and face him. He removes his mask and holds both of your shoulders, maintaining deep eye contact, "Come on, Y/n, tell me what the issue is. This is a safe place." You take a shaky deep breath, "I-the tour is canceled." Your eyes well with tears again, "That's okay, it's just postponed." Rain says smiling, thinking that that was it. You shake your head, "I-I have to have an heir." His face pales, "I'm getting married to Asmodeous's son." You sob, the realization hitting you all over again. Rain pulls you into his chest, knowing how desperately in love you were with Sodo. A few seconds later, a panicking Sodo rushes into the room.

Everyone turns to look at him, helmet off, white tank top, black sweatpants, and no shoes. His chest was heaving, eyes wide with anxiety. He heard you crying and ran from his room. Rain let go of you. You turn, facing your lover. You look at him, at the love in his eyes, the care and adoration painted in them, and you crumble to the ground. The thought of not being with Sodo, of him being exiled to the church like Omega was if you get caught, and the overwhelming burden of your parents was too much. Sodo quickly caught you before your entire body hit the cold marble. He sat on the ground, holding you close to him, "What happened? Y/n, are you hurt? My love, please, please tell me what happened." He begged, his hands roaming your body for any injuries. You hold yourself and sob into his shirt, "So-Sodo I-" You only sob harder. Mountain kneels beside you and touches your shoulder, starting to flow calming energy into you.

The waves of relaxation combatting the mountains of anxiety, took a toll on both you and Mountain. He pumped more and more energy into you, desperately trying to calm you down before you passed out, but your brain would not accept it, "Come on, Y/n. Relax." He grunts, running out of power to use. Mountain started shaking, overusing himself Aether caught the ghoul before he hit his head, "what the fuck." Aether whispered, never seeing Mountain pass out before. You were still crying, but the sobbing and wailing had stopped, "Y/n, you have to tell me what's happening. You need to tell me what's wrong." Sodo whispers into your hair. You pull back from him and look in his eyes, you go to explain, but you can't you look over at the wall, "The tour is canceled. My mother is forcing me to marry Asmodeous's son and have an heir. She knows about us." You whisper the last part.

His eyes grow wide. He took one hand and guided your face to look at his, "I am not scared of what will happen, we have the plan." He says calmly. You stop crying and a small smile creeps on your face, "We have the plan." You whisper, Sodo nods and smiles, "We have the plan!" You say louder starting to laugh. You wrap your arms around his neck, almost causing him to fall. He hugs you back, holding you tightly, "That's great and all that you both will be together and whatever." Aether interrupts the moment, "But Mountain is currently unconscious and still on the ground so can you guys help me move him." You and Sodo roll your eyes but stand and help Aether and Rain move Mountain onto the couch. He'll be okay, he just used too much magic. Sodo holds your hand, "We have to go now if we want this to work." He whispers, you look over at Aether and Rain sadly, "Can we say bye?" Sodo shakes his head 'no', "I trust them, I do, but if Sister finds out they know, they'll be tortured beyond belief." You sigh, but leave the room. Aether and Rain were too busy watching Mountain to notice.

Sodo drags you to his room, "I moved our bags into my room." He explained. You nod, the shock of everything completely stunning your mind. He closes the door behind you, the sound snapping you out of your trance, "Sodo, are we doing the right thing?" You meekly ask, nervousness beginning to set in. He pulls the duffle bags out from under his bed. He walks over to you, pulling you into a hug, "Yes. We are doing what we want and what we want to do is right." You cling to him, "What will happen if there is no one left to carry on the church?" You ask, "Sister has her ways. You know she does." Sodo says, growling slightly. He hated her more than anyone. You start to cry again. You feel guilty. You want more than anything to run away with Sodo, but what would happen to the Church of Emeritus? What would happen to your family name? You take a breath to calm yourself, "Okay, okay, I'm ready, let's go." Sodo hands you your bag. You take it, with his hand on the door knob you remember something, "Wait. I need to get something from my room." You say, he sighs, "Okay. I'll stay here. Hurry." He kisses your cheek and you run out of his room.

You open your door, taking in the final moments in your surroundings before kneeling and pulling out a small shoebox. You open the lid, relieved to see that all of your brother's letters were still there unharmed. These were the last words you shared with them, and also the last memory of them you have. You close the lid and move over to your corkboard. You take three photos. The one of you, your brothers, Copia, and the ghouls, you and your brother's first family portrait together, and the childhood photo of you and Sodo on the first day of school. You place the memories into the box and leave your room.

You rush back down to the catacombs. It was late at night now, everyone would be sleeping. Sodo sits nervously on the side of his bed, fidgeting with the promise ring you gave him. He didn't want to run away, he loved the Church, the ghouls, and the siblings, but he loves you more. He would kill, die, and do much more for you. Leaving his friends which he could still communicate with would just be a roadblock which he could overcome. You enter the room, shoebox in hand. He stands and takes the shoebox, shoving it into his duffle bag, "I have the cash on me, I have my bike keys, and here's your helmet." He says handing you the protective gear. You slip on your biker jacket, "Let's go." You say. You both leave the catacombs silently, trying to not draw attention to yourself. You clear the church's hallways, the lobby, and the steps. The end was in sight. You both slip the duffle bag's handles around your shoulders like a back pack. Sodo gets on the bike first, you get on behind him, wrapping your arms around his waist tightly. He revs the engine, and off you drive, finally free from the title of Mama Emeritus the First.
