Chapter 9

Arthit POV

Kong has been acting strange lately. Ever since the charity event and P'Toy hitting on me its like he has become a different person. Not in a bad way, but in a more possessive way. He has started taken it slow with me again which I am every so grateful for. I will not lie the way he was moving fast was scaring me. He just confuses me and makes my head spin. Last night he almost kissed me, on the lips. I was ready for it. I really wanted the kiss, but then backed away leaving me confused. Then this morning he wouldn't come close to me. Was he disgusted about my job? Did he not believe me when I said I haven't had my first kiss? Did he want someone more experience? That couldn't be it. Whatever the reason I wish he would talk to me about it.

Kong had drove me to the competition this morning then left. He said he had something to do for his father, but he would be back. That was hours ago. We are on our lunch break, and he still hasn't came back. P'Toy hasn't bothered me today but I could feel his eyes on me. Ming has been staying close, watching just like Kong said he would. I like Ming he was actually a really down to earth guy. His mate is a werewolf as well, and a fourth-year medical student. I met him this morning when he brought Ming his breakfast. He was a little cranky but who wouldn't be having to wake up by eight am on a Saturday? I sympathized with him.

"Hey why do you look so sad?" Yo the runner up from last year asked sitting down next to me.

"I was expecting someone to be here by now, but he isn't, nor is he answer my messages" I said pouting.

"Your lover?" he asked. I notice he didn't say mate so either he was a human and didn't know, or he didn't know I knew about vampires, shifter, witches and werewolves.

"Yeah, you can say that. He dropped me off this morning and said he would be back." I looked at my phone again sighing.

"staring at your phone isn't going to make him message you N'Arthit." Ming said sitting down across from me. "If Kong said he need to do something for his father than he will be busy for a while." Yo looked at me wide eyed. He leans towards me looking me up and down. I couldn't help but lean back.

"What?"

"You're a vampire?" Yo asked whispering. Ming slapped the back of his head rolling his eyes. Yo rubbed the back of his head.

"Hmm...no...human" I whispered back. "you?"

"Yep, I'm vampire, my mate is too" He says smiling. "My mate is actually Ming mate best friend" I looked between the two tilting my head.

"My P'Pha was the campus moon when he was a fresher. He has stole the title from the engineering students, they won the next year though lol. P'Kong won it back" I looked at him for a moment thinking.

"OH! Phana Kongthanin. When I was nominated for this, they told him about the one-time engineering didn't win"

"Yep, and if you lose you will run twenty laps for it, do twenty push up, twenty pull up and chin up." Ming said smirking "and don't' think you can get out of it because your boyfriend is the head heazer" I stayed at him shocked. That was not old to me! How could punish someone for losing! Ming laughed at the look at my face "Be lucky, the person who lost to P'Phana had to so one hundred of each." My jaw drops. That was so curl!

"What is nonsense are you spouting now Ming" P'Kong said walking up beside me.

"not nonsense, but the truth. What would happen if he lost" I turn to look at P'Kong to see if it was all true only to see him smirking.

"I think this should be the last year for that punishment. When you are hazer next year Ming you should do away with it" he says

"You would really punish me for something out of my control?" I asked standing up. Kong just looked at me hands in his pockets.
