Chapter 55

Arthit POV

I was scared as I sat in front of the werewolf council. The human police finally stopped begging me about my adoptive parents death. There was so much proof that I didn't do anything, that they couldn't keep coming after me. Please the king told them to fuck off as well. They were wasting time. Now I have to face the werewolf council and get questioned. Uncle said this doesn't normally happen. They don't get involved like this, for a murder. It's only because I was a vampire mate. Uncle assured me that they all believe I was human. He didn't want anyone else to know that I was alive, not till they could find my uncle. My mom brother.

"You don't have to be scared kitten." Kong said sitting next to me outside the room I'm suppose to meet them in. I look at him, I can't help but feel scared.

"Did you ever report those people to the council?" I ask remember the day he met my fake parents.

"I did, but I didn't tell them who you really were. I said I found out they raised a human child and took money for it. Showing them proof." I sighed deeply looking down at my belly.

"They will be able to see I'm not human though." I mumbled rubbing my stomach.

"Kitten, May used Lilly spell to hide your pregnancy, even I can't tell your pregnant and I'm your mate." He said rubbing my back gentle. I look up at him and see him frowning. He must not like the idea of not seeing my baby bump. I lay my head on his shoulder gentle linking our fingers together placing them on my belly.

"When will it ware off?" I ask feeling our baby move under our touch.

"The moment we step foot into our apartment." I nodded yawning. I didn't sleep well last night, and I'm extra tried today. "When we leave here, I'm getting you something to eat too. I don't like the fact you couldn't eat breakfast." Kong mumbled kissing my head.

"KFC and pink milk" I answer without hesitation. Kong chuckled nodding. "Do you have to go back to work after this?" I didn't want him too. I hate not being with him all day like in school.

"No por gave me the rest of the day off. These things can sometimes take hours." I frown not liking that answer.

We sat there in silence Kong thumb rubbing my stomach gentle, our baby moving around a lot. I can't wait for Kong to feel the baby. I know he can't either. He always pouts when I say something about the baby moving.

The doors open, making me sit up. My uncle walks out half ways holding the door open.

"They are ready for you Arthit." I take a deep breath standing up. I look down at Kong who shacks his head.

"He can't come with you." Uncle states. Now I really begin to panic. I don't want to go in there alone! I want my mate in there with me! I can feel my breathing getting heavy, and my heart rate speed up.

"Kitten...Arthit...honey calm down...Deep breaths for me." Kong says as he grabs my shoulder gentle. "Come on baby you got this. Deep breath, inhale slowly, exhale slowly. Match my breathing." I do as he says taken deep slow breaths. I can feel my heart rate slow back down, but I'm still scared. "That's my good boy. I will still be here with you love, just outside the doors. If you need me for anything baby you just yell. Desha will be there with you okay?" I look at him tears in my eyes as I nod. Kong gentle kisses my forehead gentle before handing me over to Desha.

"Come on kid." He says gentle leading me into the room.

I look around as I sit in a patted chair. There is a table in front of me shaped into a crescent. There are seven people one of which is my uncle. I sit five feet away in a very roomy patted chair. There is a wall of windows on one side making the room feel open. It's dark and cloudy outside, making the room seem dark.
