Kong POV
Arthit had a migraine that lasted over a week. It had started the same night as dinner and didn't let up. I wasn't sure what the cause was, but I think someone at the dinner was trying to get inside his head. Who though I wasn't sure. I trusted everyone that was at that table. Why would anyone want to hurt him? That brought up another questions. When Arthit was telling the story about his family, I notice how some had doubt in their eyes. Did they know something we did not? Did they know something about my mate that even he himself did not?
Arthit was only 5 when his family died. He was to young to remember anything even if he had his memories. Was something purposely blocking his memories? Was someone at the dinner trying to dig them out? I was confused, why now? Because we found each other? I would have to get to the bottom of this, I didn't want them poking around in his head and giving him migraines like he had this past week.
I had asked him if this had every happen before. Arthit said it has happened a number of times but the earliest was when he was seven. He nightmares and would wake up screaming. Then one day the nightmares stopped. He had a migraine for three days causing him to just sleep. Then again at ten, thirteen, fifteen, and this last one. Someone had been messing with his head most of his life. But why?
"Your deep in thought" Arthit said pulling me out of my thought. Today was Thursday and we were at school. He had practice for the moon and star competition. I had skipped all my classes today, just to watch him practice. I wanted to make sure there was no side effect from the migraine.
"Sorry I was thinking about something" I said pulling him to sit on my lap. Arthit looked around trying to remove himself, but I wasn't having it. He would be sitting on my lap and that was final.
"P'Kong let me go" He hissed, wiggling on my lap more.
"If you do not stop..." I warned. I was already becoming hard, and his wiggling wasn't helping. Arthit froze looking at me wide eyes. I smirk eyebrow raise.
"P'Kong...?" his voice full of hesitation as if he didn't believe I would get hard because of him.
"Yes kitten?" He blushed at the nickname, looking away. "this is what happens when you wiggle around on my lap" I say kissing his neck gentle.
"so, if anyone sat on your lap, they would have the same effect?" he asked. I didn't miss the sadness in his voice.
"No, just you, kitten." I say rubbing my noise into his neck gentle. Arthit just sat there; I don't think he believes me. "Kitten? You believe me, right?" I asked, turning him to face me fully. "You are my mate love; I swear only you can make my body react this like" Arthit just looks down biting his lip. "Let me as you this. Have you seen me flirt with anyone? Seen me talk to anyone outside our group of friends?" He shook his head yes, shocking me. "When? Who?"
"You flirt with May" He says softly. I think for a moment, trying to remember what he is talking about. Then it finally dawns on me.
"OH! Kitten listens to me. If you ever see me flirt with May, its only to get under Aim skin. I don't love May any further than I would a sister. Aim and May are madly in love, and nobody will ever be able to come between them." I lift Arthit chin up gentle making him look me in the eyes. "You are my mate baby, and I don't want anyone but you." He looks at me for a moment before taking a deep breath and exhaling slowly.
"I know...you have proved that to me in shush a short time. It's just...This is all so new...what if you come to find you don't actually like me, let alone love me? Will you just leave then? I've...been reading up on mates and a lot of the books say that even if two are mates that doesn't mean they will love or want each other." I stare at him, as he talks, has he been worried about this, this whole time?
