Chapter 62

Arthit POV

"I'm telling you Niran we have to go to the council on this." I hear my mommy tell my daddy. I was supposed to be taken a nap, but I couldn't sleep. I was too excited. My friends were going to come over to play today. I was even more excited to see my P'Kong! He said he would play hide and seek with me!

"We need more evidence." My dad says. I'm sitting at the top of the stairs, swinging my legs back and from as they dangle between the banister beams. Mommy and daddy were in the kitchen so they couldn't see I wasn't in my room taken a nap. I giggle to myself. I look at the front door and see Uncle Sanun walk though. I wanted to say hi but stopped. He looked angry; his face was scary looking. He walked towards the kitchen where mommy and daddy are.

"Well, I don't want him near us anymore." Mommy says

"My love, we can't just stop being around him. He will know something is up and come after us. We have to act like everything is normal."

"Are you talking about me?" he said, before a loud crash and a loud bang. The noises made me jump and scared! Was mommy and daddy hurt?

"What the fuck are you doing here?" My dad yelled.

"I thought you would be so happy to see me!" Uncle Sanun said, his voice sounded mean and cold,, making me shiver. I've never heard Uncle Sanun talk like that before.

"Why the fuck would we! You need to get out of our house! How did you even get past the guards?!" My mom yelled.

Uncle Sanun laughed; the laugh sounds scary. I didn't like it. "I'm a shifter you dumb bitch you think those guards out there could stop me?" There was a loud bad and a sneer. I've heard the sneer before; it was my daddy.

"Don't you ever fucking talk to my wife like that again do you understand me?!" There was another loud bang, then the sound of glass shattering.

"Mommy?! Daddy?!" I yell scared. I got up running down the stairs. "Mommy! Daddy!"

"Oon don't! Stay where you are sweetheart!" my mommy tells me.

"I'm scared mommy!" I said standing at the bottom of the stairs, tears in my eyes, visible shacking I jump as the front door bust open, and a bunch of men run in. I know some of them as they are my mommy and daddy guards.

"Get Oon and take him upstairs!" my daddy yells. There was a loud bang and a scream. 

I jump, breathing fast as I wrap my arms around my belly. That was the first time I had a dream like that. I have notice that slowly memories from before the accident. I look out the bedroom window at the rain pouring down. It's been close to two months since Lilly was taken and Sanun went missing. There wasn't a trace of him to be found. Sometimes I feel like I was being watched, but it just chalk it up to the pregnancy.

I look down at my belly feeling my baby kick. I think back to the dream. My parents knew that Sanun was up to something, and was trying to find proof, but what was he up to? And why did he want me?

I shiver at the thought as I climbed out of bed. I look around our bedroom shivering again. The apartment felt cold, and I felt as if someone was watching me. I didn't like that feeling but there wasn't much I could do about it. I grabbed my phone and waddled into the bathroom.

It was close to eight in the morning and classes started today. I couldn't believe how quickly the last almost two months went. I was just glad they went by without any issues; thought I wish they had figured out where Sanun was so the y can deal with him. P'Kong did say that it would be hard to find him as he was a shifter. They could change into anyone or anything. That was the part that scared me the most. He could pass us on the streets, and we wouldn't even know it.
