Arthit POV

You know what I hate most in the whole world? Rumors. Not all rumors, only those that hurt others. Shed someone in a bad light. Sometimes they are loosely based on facts that have turned into lies. Sometimes they are straight lies.

Rumors also hurt the reputation of those it's about. Sometimes anyways. Sometimes if the Rumors are about more than one person, only one person reputation gets hurt while the other is praised.

Rumors can always help someone get famous if they play their cards right. Depending on the rumor it could greatly help that person, or those people.

For example, if a rumor started that two people were helping the homeless in the area that could make those people stand out in a good light. Or if a rumor starting ground around that someone saved someone else.

Those are the kids of rumors you always hope are true, and not just some made up thing to help someone else look better.

The university study body is a gossip mule. There is a new rumor going around every day. Most of the time they are false. Every now and then the rumors are true.

Sometimes the rumors are based on actual facts and due to so many people spreading it, those facts get twisted. There was a rumor about a young food science major, being courted by the president of the swimming club.

That rumor turned out to be true, though neither of them denied the rumor, then didn't stat it was true either. What they did was let their actions speak louder then words.

There was a new rumor going around campus. Third year head hazer of the engineering department and former campus moon Kongpob Suthiluck was dating last year campus star, second year Chanthira Buayaem of the education department. They had been seen around campus a few times, laughing, and joking together. Kongpob had even brought her lunch, and a drink at the canteen. Neither have confirmed or denied the rumors, which only makes it worse.

I've been hearing rumors of them for the past two days. Everywhere I go that is all I hear. It's quite annoying and I hate it! Why can't Kongpob deny those rumors? What is stopping him?

Like now. My friends and I are relaxing outside and there are three girls sitting at a table next to us talking about this fucking rumor!

"Did you hear? Chanthira and Kongpob are not dating, they in fact were married over the last holiday break! I was in the head administration office, when I heard the front desk ladies talking about Kongpob asking for a name change form." The three girls squealed in glee.

"They make a cute couple! Oh my god I could picture their babies now!" I balled my hands into fist placing them on the table. I was so ready to explode!

"Girls! Girls! You will never guess what was just posted on the school forum!" a fourth girl screamed running up to the other three. I swear if this was about Kongpob I was going to fucking explode.

"Chanthira just posted that she was in fact in a relationship, wouldn't didn't say a name! It could only be Kongpob!"

"Look at her IG and FB she posted a picture of her holding hands with a guy. Those are Kongpob hands for sure."

"Omg she had a ring! So, the rumors of them being married are true?"

I couldn't take this anymore! I hated these rumors! Why can't people leave Kongpob out of their months.

"Arthit stop your breaking skin" Tutah said placing his hands on top of my balled-up ones.

"Why not just call him? You know he will tell you the truth right away." Knott said. I glare at him. I didn't want Kong to think that these rumors were affecting me. When they came out a few days ago, he asked if I was okay. I told him I was I knew they were not true, but in reality my insides were on fire. I felt like my whole world was falling apart. We just mated a week ago, I have his mark on my wrist, and a second one on the spot where my shoulder and neck meet. I didn't want him to think I doubted him. It's just that the more I hear these rumors, the more the fire in my belly spreads and anxiety builds.
