Chapter 54

Kong POV

"Chakan, do either of you know that name?" I asked my dad. I was standing in my father's off with Desha on speaker phone. It was still early enough that my shift hadn't started yet.

"Chakan? No...Actually wait...Wasn't that Churai brother?" Desha said. My mate had an uncle that wasn't Desha? I looked at my father as he taps his fingers against the desk.

"I think your right...he was older right? a beta? He was Niran right hand man."

"I haven't seen him since Niran and Churai death. Was he even at the funeral?" Desha asked.

"I don't remember." I can see the wheels turning in my father's head. "but...we have it recorded. We will have to go to the archives and find it."

"Why are you asking about him?" Desha asked.

"Kit...I mean Arthit was asleep when I got home yesterday. He had a nightmare and said that name." My father smirked at me. I almost slipped up calling him kitten. I mean its not like they don't' know I call him that, but this is serious.

"did he say anything else?" Desha asked.

"He spoke in his sleep. He said to leave his mom alone, and then Chakan name when he woke up. He couldn't really remember the nightmare, but it's the first time he said that name."

"You don't think her brother had anything to do with what happen do you?" my dad ask.

"Anything is possible. I don't really remember him. He was always quite. I know he was very protective of his sister, so maybe not." Desha said. I look at my watch and sigh.

"I need to go to HR. They will tell me where I'm assigned to today. Maybe you two can come over tonight and we can discuss this?" I also want to call Arthit see if he is awake and how he is feeling.

"I can be over around eight. I have some meetings till then." Desha said.

"Okay works for me. see you then." I hang up looking at my dad. "You're thinking something."

"I'm always thinking something son." I just look at him and hmm.

"I will see you at lunch. Arthit is coming. So, you can't work it." My father just scuffed waving me off. A smile playing on his lips.

"Yeah, yeah." He said. I shook my head leaving his office.

They had me in productions today. It was fast busy work. It allowed me to keep my mind off the matter at hand, at least until lunch.

When lunch time come around I checked my phone to see a ton of messages from Arthit. Most of them whining that he was board, some that he missed me, the last three pissed me off.

Kitten: I'm here but they wont let me see you 😔

Kitten: they told me I would need an appointment to see dad too.

Kitten: they told me I couldn't wait in the lobby I had to go outside and it's raining 😥

I marched right up to the main lobby, pissed the fuck off. I can see that it was pouring rain and hoped my baby wasn't just standing out there.

"Where the fuck is my fiancé?!" I sneered at the front desk receptionist. She jumped looking me up and down.

"Khun Suthiluck you scared me." She said smiling wide at me. This girl gets on my nerves, always flirting with me. "Fiancé? What fiancé?" she asked.

"The young man that showed up here ten minutes ago asking for me and my dad." I sneered at her again. "You told him to leave. Did you see where the fuck he went?" The woman looked at me shocked shacking her head no.
