Chapter 46

Arthit POV

Flashback

Kerkkrai and I sit in the waiting room of PUH emergency room. It's been six hours since I got the call. The first person I called was Kerkkrai. I told him what Tew told me and told him I was on the way to the hospital. I bet him there by two minutes. When I got here, they told me he was in surgery, but couldn't tell me anything else.

It wasn't just us here. Wad's parents where here along with Perm and his parents. Aim parents along with May and her parents. All our friends are where, along with Ming, P'Kit, Yo, P'Pha, P'Beam and P'Forth. I wasn't sure why they were here, until I say Daw. Then I remember Forth was Kong cousin, and Beam was his mate. I really didn't care if they were here or not, but I am glad to see that my Kong, Wad, and Aim have so many people that love them.

The doctor working on both Wad and Aim already came out and explained everything. Aim had a broken right arm, a serve condition , two broken ribs, for the broke arm, they had to put pins in his arms, and he would need physical therapy in about eight weeks. Overall, he was okay. There was no internal bleeding, and he should make a speedy recovery. They had moved him to recover then would be moving him to the ICU, but nobody could see him for a little while. Everyone could see the relief on Aim parents face along with May and her parents.

It took almost another hour before another doctor came out. He was covered in blood. He was covered in blood. I knew that couldn't be a good sign at all. He informed us that Wad was doing okay and has been moved to recovery. Wad had second degrees burns from his neck down to his wraist on his left side. Luckily, they did not penetrate his skin deep enough to cause nerve damage. His burns would be okay after proper treatment. Other than the burns he came out with a broken leg, and three broken ribs. Prem asked about the baby, and the doctor was happy to report the baby was perfectly fine. The pure relief on Prem face made me want to cry.

Now we are waiting for Dr. Lim to come out. The longer it takes the more scared I become. I want my mate to be okay. I want him to come out of this alive.

"What the fuck is taken so long?" Ming said as he started to pace. I wanted to know the answer to that question as well.

"Does this mean, that something bad has happen?" I asked. I didn't want to think about it, but its possible right?

"Let's not think like that okay?" Kerkkrai said as he patted my knee gentle. I couldn't help it. All kinds of bad things were running through my mind.

"I want to know how the fuck the lab blew up." Forth said as he ran his hands through his hair.

"It wasn't just the labs, but the whole floor caught fire. I'm not sure if the labs were last or first." Tew said rubbing his face.

We all turn when the OR doors opened. Dr. Liam walked out, the front of his grown covered in blood. My heart started racing, my mind thinking all kind of negative thoughts. Kerkkrai stands up. I notice how pale he looks; his hands were shacking lightly.

"Kong?"

"He is okay, but not out of danger yet. Let's start off by saying Kong is young and will make a full recover. The EMT informed us that they lost him twice on the way here but was able to bring him back each time." I started crying covering my mouth. Ming wrapped his arms around my shoulders pulling me to him.

"What else." Kerkkrai said. I can tell he is trying to control his emotions.

"Kong has a lot of injuries. I understand that they had to dig him out. So, I want you to understand that even with his vampire speedy recover, he is still going to have a long road ahead of him. He will need to learn to walk again. He will need physical therapy."
