Arthit POV
"So, you think your nanny was the one who saved you?" Knott asked before taken a sip of his drink. It was Saturday night; my friends and Kong friends were spending time together in our apartment eating pizza and watching a movie when Bright suggest go to our favorite bar. Everyone declined because Wad and I are pregnant, but I agree. Wad did to. Just because we were pregnant doesn't mean everyone else couldn't drink. Plus, they make an awesome mocktail. After getting the Okay from both Wad and me, we finished our pizza and the movie before heading out.
"I don't know, but por and uncle believe she might have." I answer. I lend against the arm of the couch watching as Bright and Rome danced with Tutah and some random guy.
"Do they have any idea how?" I shook my head no. It's been a week since I had that dream, and I have not heard anything from either of them.
"I want to call or message them and ask them what they found, but I'm kind of scared to know." I admitted to him. It was just him and I sitting here. Wad and Perm were dancing, Kong was pulled into a dance by Prae, and Maprang, after a group of men wouldn't leave them alone. To my surprise Oak went along too, staying close to Maprang. If I didn't know that Prae was a lesbian, or that Kong thought of her as a sister I would be jealous of them dancing.
"Have you had another dream like that?" I looked back at Knott tilting my head. Knott normally don't ask a lot of questions. He is more the silent type. I wonder for a brief moment why he was so curious now. I mentally shack my head of those thoughts.
"No. For once I was hopping to have the nightmare." I say taken a drink of my mocktail. I hummed as the coolness went down my throat and settled in my stomach. The baby must have liked it too, as I felt tiny butterflies in my stomach. I placed my hand on my very small baby bump smiling softly.
"You seem happy" Knott said. I nodded giving him a big smile.
"I have a question for you. It was something Tutah said in passing." I tilted my head looking at him.
"What?"
"Remember when you were in the hospital after the bomb? You asked Tutah how far a vampire could read a person mind?" I thought about it for a moment trying to think back. I snapped my fingers remembering.
"I wanted to let P'Kong know I was awake since he wasn't in the room. Why?"
"Well, it got me thinking. Couldn't he read your mind during one of your nightmares to see how the person was?" I looked into my drink frowning. Could that even be possible? How does Kong define "reading of the mind"? Is it just thoughts? Or is can he see pictures and memories too?
"I have no idea. I never actually asked him." I sigh laying my head on the back of the couch. "It wouldn't matter if he could anyways. The faces are always blurred. Until recently, even my parents faces were blurred out. It wasn't till Uncle showed me pictures that I was able to put a face to them."
"Oh. I thought you always saw their faces. When you had the nightmare the first time you said it was your mom and dad" I frowned not remembering saying that, but its possible.
"I think the first time I ever had the nightmare; I just knew. Like it was a feeling deep down."
"Makes sence." He says finishing off his drink. I look at him then look around. Normally Tew would be next to him. I sit up noticing that Tew was nowhere to be found. I scanned the dance floor again. Bright, and Tutah were dancing together now the rando guy gone. Rome had moved on to dancing with Wad, while Oak and Prae were together. Kong was still dancing with Maprang, Aim and May were dancing together. I looked around and spotted Perm at the bar, getting drinks.
