Arthit POV

The nightmares are starting again. I haven't had them since I was sixteen years old. Right after my parents kicked me out. I can't ever remember what they are about. I just know that I wake up in a cold sweat, breathing fast, and scared out of my mind. They are normally brought on when I am under a great deal of stress, like I was when I was sixteen.

"Arthit are you okay? You have bags under your eyes and your paler than normal" Knott asked. We have a group project due in two days and right now we are in the library studying. Well I am trying to study, but I can't seem to keep my eyes open.

"the nightmares are back" I say without thinking. Silence. I am greeted with silence. I look up to see all my friends looking at me.

"When did they start?" Bright asked his face full of seriousness.

"The day after the prank" I answer truthfully. The pranks have never caused the nightmares, and I know that isn't the reason. "and no before you asked that wasn't the cause."

"Do you know the cause?" Prem ask? I sigh rubbing my face. I don't know if I want to tell them. I haven't even told P'Kong, and he is my mate. I look at them my eyes fired with tiredness and worry.

"I haven't even told P'Kong yet. He knows about the nightmares. He is the one waking me up. He think it's you all fault."

"Well know wonder why he is gaze is trying to kill us" Tutah said. I let out a tried chuckle shacking my head.

"Well, if that isn't the stressor then what is?" Knott asked. I look at them again, thinking, really thinking about telling them before telling P'Kong. I don't want him to think that I trust my friend over him. Maybe it would be better if I told them all together. I pick up my phone to message P'Kong when I feel a hand on the back of my neck. I didn't have to look up to know it was him.

"Hey baby." He whispers in my ear before kissing the shell gentle. He pulls out the chair next to me turning it around before sitting down. "You look tried kitten" he says as he rubs the pad of his thumb under my right eye. I lean into his touch yawning.

"He was falling asleep while we were studying" Knott stats. Kong keeps rubbing under my eye, concern written all over his face.

"It's your four fault he is having nightmares. You fucking lock him in a cabin in the middle of the woods, then tell him people where murder there" He sneers at them, his eyes never leaving mine, but his fangs show.

"P'Kong it's not there fault love, this didn't start because of that" I say gentle cupping his cheeks gentle. "It's actually something else."

"Then tell me. I don't like hearing you scream in the middle of the night kitten" his voice low, full of worry. I pick my phone back up, going into my messages I hand the phone over to him. "Here read these" I saw. He takes the phone with his free hand while I keep his other hand on my cheek. I could see the curious in his eyes, then the anger, then the rage. His fangs start showing and the hand holding my phone squeezing. I can hear the screen crack, snapping him out of his rage.

"Why?" I knew what he was asking and I didn't have a good answer for him.

"I thought if I ignored it, they would leave me alone. And they did, for a few days, then those messages came though." My voice low. I knew no matter what answer I gave him he would be pissed I didn't tell him sooner.

"This...is something I should have been made aware of from the start." His tone low, but full of rage.

"I know" I said. The hand I held to my cheek stayed relaxed, never once did it lose the gentleness it held. I pressed his hand more into my cheek, kissing the palm gentle. "Please don't be upset with me" I whispered. P'Kong closed his eyes taken a deep breath, once, twice, three times. I could feel his body relax with each deep breath he took. Finally, after the fifth time, he opened his eyes looking at me.
