Chapter 47

Arthit POV

I slowly wake up stretching. I had no reason to actually get up this morning now that school was let out. Last summer I had a job, something to keep me occupied till the school year started, but this summer would be different. I didn't have a job anymore. Thinking about it now, I was thankful. I don't' think I would want to work while being pregnant. I frowned, as another thought popped into my head. I will still be pregnant when the new school year rolls around.

"Crap" I mumbled doing the math in my head. The baby would be born close to the end of September. School will only be in session for a month at that point. "Stupid Kong" I mumble. He was the one who did this to me. I smile sleepy shacking my head. No, it was both out fault.

"What am I stupid for this time?" Kong ask amusement in his voice. I slowly my eyes blinking a few times to get them use to the light again. I checked the time and notice that it was close to noon. I had slept for almost twelve hours. I frown when I realize the voice wasn't coming from next to me. I quickly sat up to see Kong leaning against the bedroom door, freaking me out. For one fleet moment I had forgotten everything.

"What are you doing?!" I yelled jumping out of bed, rushing to him. He has only been realized from the hospital for a few days. He was told that he was not supposed to be walking. His left tibia was broken but was fully healed within three days of him waking up. I take his left arm wrapping it around my shoulder while my right arm goes around his wraist. I lead him back to the bed, helping him sit down, being very careful. This fool was able to dress himself in a pair of lose grey sweatpants and a white t-shirt. "Why did you wake me up?! You could have seriously hurt yourself!" I was mad! What was he thinking! He might be a vampire and is able to heal quickly but these were very serious wounds! They had kept him in the hospital for a week because of them!

"Baby I am fine." He says smiling up at me. He wraps his left arm around my wraist pulling me to him. I huff crossing my arms over my chest. I start tapping my foot, his smile was not going to get him out of this. "Kitten I am fine I swear" he says kissing my belly gentle, his hand rubbing smile circles on my lower back.

"Don't you 'kitten' me Kongpob! You could have been seriously hurt!" Kong kissed my belly again smiling up at me. I melted at the sight. I couldn't stay mad at him. There was no way when he was looking so cute up at me like that. I sighed running my hands through his hair. "Where did you go anyways? You know I don't like waking up alone." I asked gentle. We have been apart so many times in the last nine months, that I believe I now have separation anxiety. Or it could be our mate bond too. I think Kong might have the same issue too. That or he is just way to possessive of me.

"I went to the kitchen. I was hungry, and you were sleeping so soundly, and looked so beautiful I didn't want to bother you." I frown down at him yanking his hair, hard enough for him to wince.

"Are you out of your mind!" I yell moving away from him. "That means you went down the stairs! Kong you could have fallen and hurt yourself worse! You should have woken me up! Or called Tew and Knott!" I felt like crying now. Did he think I couldn't help him? Did he think I was useless!

"Kitten that is enough!" Kong growled standing up. He wrapping his arm around my wraist yanking me to him. "I can walk down the stairs just fine as long as I go slow. You are pregnant and need the sleep. What would have happen if you were helping me and I fell? We both would have fallen, and you and the baby would have gotten hurt." I keep my arms crossed over my chest looking at him frowning. He had a point. As much as I was worried about him falling, I was just as worried about falling and hurting our baby.

"You still could have asked Tew and Knott to come help" I mumbled, laying my head on his chest gentle, wrapping my arms around his wraist. I was glad that his ribs healed fast. It hurt him so much to breath, and I hated seeing him like that.
