Kong POV

"P'Kong where are you?" I heard Arthit whisper as I come up behind him, covering his mouth with my hand. I feel him go stiff and I know he is scared.

"I'm right here" I whisper in his ear. His body relaxes as he pulls my hand off his mouth turning to face me.

"Where have you been? You said nothing would happen to me, yet I get beat in the head and slapped." He hisses at me. I can see the pure rage in his eyes, along with tears.

"What?" I was pissed, that is how they go him out? How did I not realize it when I saw them take him out last night? I reach up to touch his head, but he quickly backs away.

"Don't touch me. I don't trust you." I felt a pang in my heart hearing his words. He had a right to not trust me. I haven't been able to protect him once.

"I have to get you out of here. You can hope on my back if you want, or I can carry you." I made no move to touch him again.

"what would be less harmful to the baby?" Arthit asked putting his hand on his stomach. I want to place my hand on his but fight to urge.

"My back." I turn around kneeling down. It wasn't long before I felt him wrap his arms around my shoulders. I stood up carefully locking my arms around his thighs, so he doesn't fall. "hang on tight and close your eyes." I wait till I feel his arms tighten around my shoulders before speeding off.

It didn't take us long to get out of the wood. These were the woods I grew up in as a child. I ran around them practicing my powers. I knew these woods better than most. So, when I followed them from the bar here, I was shocked. I didn't realize that anyone had built a house in these woods.

The house wasn't guarded with people, but with security and motion sensors and magic. When I saw they brought Arthit into the house, my first reaction was to go in there right away and get him. I should have listen to my gut, but I didn't. I was worried about who was in there, how many people might be there, and if they would harm Arthit and my child.

The plan had been simple, use Arthit as bait, storm the place, capture the people involve and get Arthit out of there. Arthit didn't like it, he didn't want to be bait, he had been worried about our child safty. I was worried too, but I was more worried about capturing this guy and getting him out of our lives. I should have listen to him and thought of something else.

That plan failed.

Flashback at the gala

"P'Kong are you sure this is a good idea? I don't feel comfortable doing this." Arthit said biting his lip. We were outside in the garden getting some fresh air. My gut was telling me this was the only way to bring the fucker behind all this out.

"Yes baby it is, but I swear you will not get hurt, you and our baby will be fine. I will be there with you the whole time. I will get you out the moment you are taken."

"Something is telling me this is wrong, that something bad is going to happen. Please P'Kong don't make me do this." Arthit said tearing up. He wraps his arms around his belly, as if to protect the baby.

"I'm sorry baby, this really is the only way. They are after you and we need to use you as bait. Believe me kitten, I don't want to do this either, I truly don't, but its this or them hurting you again and again." I said pulling him into my arms holding him tight. Arthit wrapped his arms around my wraist burring his face in my chest. I could feel him shacking lightly.

"everything is going to be okay baby I swear." I whisper in his ear, kissing his neck gentle.

"how will you find me?" He asked pulling away a little to look at me.
