Kong POV

Arthit was shaken up from the attack in the parking lot last night. Who could blame him? He clung to me all night, whimpering in his sleep now and then. Surprising he didn't wake up screaming, there was no nightmare. At least none that woke him up.

I had a meeting with Lilly this afternoon, and I wanted to take Arthit with him. He wants to remember what happen. I want that too, but I fear what he might find out will do more harm than good. The chose is up to him thought. I am having Oak look into any house fires around fifteen years ago, not just in Bangkok, but all over Thailand and Asia. I gave him everything Arthit has been told and so far, he hasn't found anything. Which only makes me think that his adopted parents lied to him.

I also plan on meeting those assholes. Who the fuck throws their sixteen-year-old son our all because he is gay? That never sat right with me. You took this baby into your home, you raised it, fed it, love it, and then tossed it out because it didn't go with your believes? I would have to get to the bottom of that.

"Hey!" Aim snapped his fingers in front of my face getting my attention. My mind has been all over the place since last night.

"What?" I push his hand away before standing up. I look around remember its mid afternoon and we were in my father office.

"You have been spacing out did you not hear anything I just said?"

"No, my mind was some place else."

"Clearly, anyways Oak found something" I turn my attention to Oak who was typing away on his laptop.

"So, I went back like you asked me and looked for any unsolved murder involving families. You wanted me to look for house and car fires. Arthit is nineteen so I went back fourteen years. I found no unsolved murders. That means either the murders were never reported, or they solved it and closed the case."

"Arthit adopted family claims his whole family died in a house fire while they were on vacations." I said as I started to pace around.

"Yes so, I took the search internationally, and I for four hits within two years. All four in Korea. The first one I ruled out, I was an older couple, their daughter and her husband, no kids. The daughter had never given birth. The second one was a mother, father, and two boys. I ruled them out because you said it was three children, also this was electrical. So that these two. The third one I am on the fence with. A mother, father, two boys and a girl were on vacation in the mountains of Korea when a thunderstorm happen. Their house had caught on fire. The authorized claim the whole family died. The more I look into it, it might be the case, but the youngest boy was never found."

I look at him. Arthit parents might have been telling the truth after all.

"then we have the fourth one. A mother, and father found killed in a burnt down house, their five-year-old son also found dead."

"Okay? Why not rule that one out?" Aim asked.

"Because of this" Oak turned his laptop around to show us the crime report. It was in Korean, but lucky enough I could read that.

"The police didn't think the bodies died in the fire. They think they were placed there" I mumbled.

"Yes, also when they did DNA testing, the boy DNA didn't match that of the man and woman." I started pacing again thinking.

"Where they from Korea or Thailand?"

"Thailand" Oak responded back. I sat in my father chair tapping my finger against the arm rest.

"I don't think that is his family. Why kill them in Korea, then transport him back to Thailand? Why not leave him there?" I say softly.

"So, you think someone else did this? And that boy is missing?" I nod my head, before turning to look at Oak.
