Since that little fiasco in English, not one person in that class had any interaction with Emerald or me, except for kai and Zane. Kai and Zane are twins; although, they look nothing alike. Kai and Zane both are around 6 feet tall and extremely buff. Kai has brown hair with seaweed green highlights, like Emerald, but Zane has dirty blonde hair with bright blue highlights, like I do. They didn't dye their hair, and neither did we. We were all born with our hair colored that way. "Hey! wait up." Zane shouted at us.

"What. I thought you were avoiding us as well." I told them.

"What?! Of course not! why would we do such a thing! We are friends after all, and friends do not abandon each other. Speaking of which, who didn't tell us about the party after school?" Kai exclaimed.

"What party? Oh yeah! That party." Emerald said.

"Yeah. That party. When and where is it?" Zane questioned us.

"Oh... umm... it's at the beach and you two are invited. It's right after school, since it's a friday and all." I mentally smacked myself, realizing where it was.

"Ohhh.... the beach....." Kai told Zane giving him a strange look.

Before Kai could say anything, Zane spoke up. " We'll be there. We'll even go for a swim with you guys, but only because it's your sixteenth birthdays." he pointed to the both of us.

"We will?" Kai looked at Zane with a shocked expression.

"Yes." Zane told him. "We will."

"Okay, guys. See you there. Did you bring your beach stuff with you or is it at your house?" I asked them"

"Oh. it's in our car. We brought it just in case." Zane told us.

"Okay. That's great. Well we'd better get to class. It's the last hour of the day, so I have science with Mr. Travinsky. And I heard that he isn't in a great mood, so I'd better leave now. Bye!" I called out to them as we walked down the hallway.

"Hey, Em, don't you think the way they were acting back there was odd? I mean, I don't think i've ever seen them acting like that back there."

"Yeah, that sure was strange. Let's see if they get in the water this afternoon. Bye!" She told me.

"Bye, Em!" I called back to her.
