The kingdom

Sorry I haven't updated in a while, School's been in overload. :/ So, yeah... here's the new update! Hope you like it! :)

We swam toward the palace - past the houses tucked away in the coral. They were all made out of coral, and they all had vibrant colors. One was a bright blue, and another was a blazing yellow. Each of them was a different color. There were many merpeople watching us as we passed by. Andre was waving at them, so I decided to do the same. I gingerly waved to them, hoping not to draw too much attention. Emerald started waving, too. When the people lining the streets saw us waving, they started cheering and clapping. "Hey, Andre, why are they cheering?", I asked Andre.

"Well, in case you haven't noticed, they are celebrating the return of the long lost princesses - YOU!", he told us.

"Wow. That's pretty cool.", emerald exclaimed. We swam along the groups of houses and people for almost give minutes and came to a clearing. From there, one could see the tallest and grandest structure in the mermaid city - the palace.

We swam up to the palace quickly and quietly, too excited to do anything else. The only ones who looked excited were emerald and I. The others were indifferent.

We reached the palace and swam under huge coral archways. They were multicolored and looked as if they had mother- of- pearl on them. ( for those of you who don't know what mother of pearl is, it's the shiny part on the insides of shells - some are shinier than others. ) As we were swimming under them, someone was swimming toward us. He reached us - wait, no, I'm sorry, she - reached us and said," welcome to Aquadia! Please, come this way. The king and queen are expecting your arrival."
