We arrived home and parked the car. Zach made sure to get as far inside the garage as he could to make sure nobody could see. We carefully lifted him out of the trunk of Zach's car. The boys were carrying him. I swear. They hit his head like twice. I mind-linked Em.

Yeah. I know. She replied as she stifled a laugh.

"Hey, guys, be careful. You don't want him to wake up with a concussion.", I warned the boys.

"I don't know. Do we?", Zayn joked.

"Well, I think he should. After all, his boys did take Dana.", Nate growled.

I put my hands. "Woah. Easy, wolf boy. No need to get upset. We'll find her. Don't worry.", I said.

"Wolf boy?"

"Yes, wolf boy."

"Why wolf boy?"

"Because the name suits you."

"I like that nickname.", Zach said.

"Not helping, Zach.", Nate replied. "How does the nickname suit me exactly?

"Because you are a werewolf."

"What's that supposed to do with anything?"

"Ugh. Never mind."

It took him a few minutes. "Oh."

"Yeah", I replied in a 'duh' tone while nodding my head.

"Hey, guys?", Em said. We all looked at her. "You do realize that you haven't moved from your original position since the beginning of that conversation."

I felt like slapping all of them. They couldn't do two things at once? Two simple tasks for crying out loud! "Well, you heard Em. Get moving.", I ordered them.

"Ugh. Fine!", Zayn yelled at me over dramatically. "Let's go boys. Let's show them how fast we can get him inside." With that said, the boys literally started running to get the guy to the holding cell. When they reached the cell, they ran inside and put him down without waking him up. They walked out and locked the door behind them. As soon as they locked the door, our dad walked in.

"What's going on? Is he one of the guys who took Dana?", he asked us.

We nodded. "Do you want the long version or the short version?" I asked him flatly.

"Well, considering there's a stranger in our storage cell, give me the short version please."

"Ok. Nate, tell him what happened."

--------------------

"That's up to where we are right now.", Nate finished.

"Ok. So, let me get this straight. Dana was captured, so, Nate, you beat up that guy and brought him here."

"Yes."

"Ok. Well, who want to interrogate him?"

"Who wants to interrogate whom?", Mom asked. I didn't see her come in - none of us did. "I heard you talking about something in here with your father, and I wanted to know what." Everyone was quiet for a few seconds. "Well?"

I let out a breath I didn't realize I was holding in. "Dana was kidnapped. Just as we arrived on the scene, Nate had succeeded in knocking out one of the people who were appointed with the task of kidnapping her. He's in the holding cell."

"And how did you know about the holding cell?"

"Dad told us. We called the house after it happened. He picked up the phone."

Mom turned to Dad. "Well, I see you are picking up on how to work the technology."

"Yes. It is actually quite easy to learn. I already know how to operate the TV, the phone, and the computer.", Dad replied proudly.

"Ok. Well, that's good." Then she turned back to us. "I'll interrogate him first. I'll let you know if he's human or magus."

"Magus?", I asked her.

Mom nodded her head. "Yes, magus. It means magical. It's Latin. Magus is the term for any magical creature. I'll explain more later."

"Ok." Mom walked over to the bathroom and came out with a giant floating ball of water following behind her. Walking past us, she turned left into the interrogation room. Yes, the interrogation room is in one of the secret areas. Using her powers, she dumped the water bubble onto the prisoner. Slowly, he blinked into consciousness and started coughing. Nate must have knocked him out good.

She leaned in close and said, "Where is she?"

He tried to play innocent for a little while by saying, "Who?"

Mom banged on the table. "You know who. Don't play dumb with me."

"Well, Lizzy," She froze. "I obviously know who you are, but you have no idea who you are. Well, you probably do. You just have to search from way back in your memory."

She stood there thinking for a little bit then froze again. Whoever this guy is apparently is not a good guy. "You." She whispered.

He just chuckled. "Well done. Well done."

"I thought you were dead."

"Oh, don't you know? Vampires live forever."

"So, how is your wolf treating you? Do you even have a wolf anymore, Jake?"

"Oh no, I still have a wolf, and he's still angry that you left us all those years ago. You are our mate."

"No, I'm not!", she roared in his face. "You just thought I was. You were upset that your own mate died, so you tried to get another. Guess what. That's not how the mate system works." She paused momentarily. "You have taken part in the capture of a Pure Blood. The sentence for that is death." His eyes went wide. "But... if you help us find Dana, you will be pardoned."

"I...."

"It's your choice, Jake, not mine. If you die, it's of your own will. I have given you a second chance. Don't blow it." And with that said, she turned around and walked out the door.
