Nate still had that dumbstruck look on his face. "You found your mate didn't you." He nodded. "She doesn't know what you are, does she?" He shook his head. "You plan on telling her?" He looked at me for a second, and shrugged his shoulders.

"I don't know. I'm really happy right now, but I don't want her to run away because of what I am."

I turned him around to face me. "Nate, you already know what they are. It's true. They don't know what you are. They very well may not know that you know what they are. You're going to have to tell her, sooner or later. And, if there's one thing I learned about girls, it's they don't like to be kept in the dark. Either, you tell her or she will figure it out. Trust me when I say that the longer you wait to tell her, the more upset she will be when she finds out, and note that I said when. If you don't tell her, she WILL find out, and she WILL NOT be a happy camper. Got it?"

"Yeah. I'll talk to her soon."

I patted him on the back. "Ok. You better." I quickly examined my watch. "Uh, Nate, we have to go. We have Mr Travinsky's class, and I'm not too keen on being late the first day." As soon as I said that, we both took off down the hallway, and sat in our seats as soon as the bell rang.

"Ah. Mr. Stevens and Mr. Lyall, I see you are starting to take after miss Seraphina who doesn't seem to be present. Do either of you happen to know where she is?", Mr. Travinsky stated.

"She's showing her siblings around the school."

"I didn't know she had any."

"Well, she didn't know until a few weeks ago.

"Ah. I see. Well, you were almost late. I'll let it go this time. Don't let it happen again." Students around the room started whispering and gasping. "That doesn't mean I won't punish you." Everyone went quiet. "There. Now turn to page five."
