"He's ready to talk.", he said. He left the room, and we followed him out. We walked over to the window of his room. He was crying uncontrollably. I gulped as I would have to go back in there. I took a deep breath and walked into his room.

I walked in and he was still crying his eyes out. "Let me guess. You heard everything."
He nodded. "I should have understood. I shouldn't have made that decision to go attack them. I should have stayed with you.", he said. He looked straight into my eyes.
"I know. I know. But, listen to me, it's over now between us. I'm already married. You just need to accept that. Find yourself someone and treat her as you would have treated me. Do you understand? I let you go as soon as you were bitten. You have to understand." He nodded again. "Hey! What about my sister. You used to have a crush on her, too. Why don't you try to find her. See if you can get to know her a little better. How about I invite her here, and you can stay while she stays. Ok? Does that sound good?" He smiled hugely at me.
"Thank you. That sounds great."
"You're welcome. But first, you said you were going to help us?"
He smiled. "I know just who it is."
