I don't want to help him. I really don't. But, I have no other choice. I can't run away, because he will find me, like any other mer. I can't stay, either. I have to do something, something so that he will send me away. But, that'll never happen 'til I graduate in a couple of years. His plans of capturing the two younger siblings are going to take place the next time the two go out to the shipyards, which is tomorrow, but what can I do for that?

"Zachary! Get up here!", my dad yelled down to my room below deck.

"Coming!", I replied. I really need to think of a plan to help them. "What do you need?"

"Come help me with this."

"Ok. What is it?"

"Just come help me with it. I'll explain later."

"Ok. Fine."

---------------- Meanwhile ---------------

"Ok. Ok. I think this is enough stuff let's head back.", I told Alyssa. We were carrying six or seven bags of clothes, shoes, accessories, and whatever else you can think of for a teenage girl of sixteen. We went into at least ten stores and only came out with seven bags. How did that even work? Oh, right. Some of them are stuffed in others.

"Are you sure?", she replied. "It doesn't look like enough to me. Dana, what do you think?"

"Well, we are carrying seven bags of stuff." Dana said. "Really, it depends on what we are stocking up for. A survival shelter? Or a teenage girl?"

"Yeah, I guess you're right. We have plenty. Becca, could you go get the boys. They're only a few roads down in the seaball field. ", Alyssa instructed.

"Ok. I'll go get them.", Becca replied. Becca swam over the city swiftly and gracefully. She passed over three streets and found them. They were in the middle of a seaball game and looked as if they were concentrating really hard on it. Right now, the ball was soaring over them with Kai about to catch it. "Hey, boys!" The ball landed right smack on Kai's head.

"What?", Kai grumbled.

"Oh, nothing.....", she smiled. Kai's face was getting redder by the second.

"Wait. You called for us for nothing? What kind of person does that!" By this point, Kai's face was really red, and he was shaking from anger. Becca started swimming in the opposite direction toward Alyssa and the others.

"How about you come and get me!", she shouted as she swam away at full speed. Kai started chasing her. "All of you, slow pokes." Right after she said that, the other boys started chasing her with Claudia trailing behind them. By this point, everybody was laughing. Kai was no longer angry. He was laughing along with the rest of them. Becca stopped ahead of them - right by us. They all stopped chasing her as soon as they got up to us.

"Looks like you got them up here rather quickly. Good job, Becca.", Alyssa said and gave her a high five.

"Ok. What is the meaning of this, Alyssa?", Kai asked. He was upset now. Nobody likes getting whacked in the head with a flying seaball.

"Sorry, we just asked Becca to get you guys up here. What did she do to you?"

"Well, we were playing seaball. She swam down to the field and called us out, which distracted us, leaving the ball to whack me in the head." Emerald giggled at this. Kai started pouting. Emerald started giggling more at this.

"Wow. Looks like Becca got you. We needed you up here because we are ready to go back to the castle. But first, we are going to a couple of bakeries. Come on, there's some people you have to meet!"
