Wolf fight

I turned around to get a glance of Dana. Instead of just Dana sitting there, a few of another pack's members were sitting with her.

She didn't look very happy. They were petting her and whispering thing to her. She put her head in her lap and started crying.

Immediately, I took off toward her while struggling to hold back my wolf. My wolf and I were getting very angry right now. They touched our mate. How dare they do that.

As I neared the scene, I felt an involuntary growl resonate from my chest. The boys messing with her looked up. I saw Dana's head come up to look at me. Clearly, she must have heard it.

My eyes were glowing an amber from reigning my wolf in. We did not need to mind wipe an entire school. As I was struggling with my wolf, the boys that were bothering Dana had glowing amber eyes as well.

I quickly looked around. Nobody was out here except Dana's family and Zach. Good. Slowly, I started to release my grip on my wolf. My wolf calmed down the more I released him.

Finally, I could get some words out. I grabbed the two boys closest to me and held them up by the neckline of their shirts. "Listen to me and listen well." I was using the alpha voice on them. It works on all wolves with a lower rank than you. "I'm sure you all know who I am. That girl right there" I nodded at Dana. "is my mate. If you dare touch her again, so help me, I will kill you all, even if it starts a war with your pack. Got it?" They nodded their heads vigorously. "Good."

Dana was staring at me with her mouth open. Obviously, she knew that wasn't normal. She looked somewhat scared. Great. I'm gonna scare her off. Then, she smiled. "Nate, how did you know we are mates?"

I was about to say something, but stopped. "Your brothers told me." She seemed to have bought it because she didn't talk about it for the rest of the day.
