Phone calls and lunch

When the bell rang for lunch, I waited right outside the door. Nate went ahead to lunch to talk to Dana. I wanted to see what Mr. Travinsky would do with this new knowledge. He pulled out his phone and dialed a number. He stuck the phone up to his ear for a second before he started to talk. "Hey. They're here. Yes. The whole family, I think. I know for a fact all of them are here except the king. I don't know about him. I will. Thank you. Bye." He hung up his phone and started walking out the door to lunch. I ran silently down the hall to the nearest restroom and hid in a stall for a few minutes. I waited until his footsteps went past me to make a sound. I stepped down from off of the toilet lid and turned around and flushed the toilet. I waited a few minutes. And walked out of the stall and turned on the water to make whomever standing outside think I'm washing my hands. After a few minutes, I grabbed a few paper towels and threw them away. Walking out of the bathroom with my bag in tow, I tried to not look very suspicious. After I passed a few classrooms, I ran the rest of the way to my locker. I put my books in my locker and made my way over to the lunch room. I grabbed my lunch and found the table everyone was sitting at.

"Where's Nate?", I asked.

"He's talking to Dana. He already told us what he is. Your dad doesn't have a problem with him being your friend?", Andre asked.

"Well, yes and no. He doesn't like the fact that he's a werewolf, but he promised me he'd leave him alone, so, yeah."

"Oh. Ok. Well that's good."

I looked around real quick to make sure that nobody was listening. I wasn't sure that I trusted anyone after what I experienced today. "Speaking of which, I think I should probably tell you guys something." I paused for a minute. "My dad is after you." They all stared at me.

"Other than how much he's after us now?"

"Uh, it depends. What is that?"

"We've seen Stella - several times. She isn't very stealthy. We always have spies watching your dad's boat. We know that he has been trying to overthrow our dad."

"Hmm... That's more than I thought you guys knew, but there's two things that I bet you guys don't know. Number one, my dad wanted me to keep an eye on you and report back to him, but i think you know I wouldn't do anything to betray anyone. I'm always neutral. Number two, I think Mr. Travinsky is working for my dad. I heard him talking on his phone with someone. I even got a recording of his conversation."

"Interesting. We'll remember that. You sure your dad knows that you feel this way?"

"Sort of. I don't think he knows that i'm half-mer, so I think it's safe to assume that he thinks that I don't care about what he does. Think about it. He had to bargain with me to get me to agree to help him with watching you guys. He thinks I don't care."

"Ok. That's great. Don't let him think otherwise."

"Ok." I checked my watch real quick. "We have ten minutes. Let's finish eating lunch."
