Your POV

I was walking through Vale with ED-E following me, as I made my way to a local bookstore in search of more information on Vault-Tec. Over the past few weeks, ED-E had adjusted to everything and knew who my friends were. He also knew that Team CRDL were not friendly and after a specific encounter, they knew that ED-E was not someone to mess with.

Flashback

I walking through the courtyard cafeteria with ED-E hovering a few feet behind me. Suddenly I heard ED-E let out an angry bleep and heard him shoot a couple stunning shots. As the sound of a couple body hitting the floor was heard, I turned to see Cardin and his teammates on the floor. I saw that Cardin had been holding his mace as he stared at ED-E and said, "How did that bucket of bolts see me?!" I smirked as I stood over Cardin and said, "Because he's smarter than you realize. He has proximity sensors, you idiot. They allow him to be always aware of his surroundings in case of particular situations like this. Be thankful that he only stunned you amd didn't kill you."

End of Flashback

I chuckled as I thought about the memory. I finally arrived at Tukson's Book Trade and went inside. I could hear shop owner humming a tune in the back room. I approached the counter and rang a service bell sitting there. I heard the owner call out from the back as he said, "Be right there!" I saw him come into view carrying stacks of books as he walked backwards and out towards the counter. As he set the books down, he said, "Welcome to Tukson's Book Trade, home to nearly every book under the sun! How may I help you?"

I smiled and said, "I was wondering if you had any books with information about the Vault-Tec Corporation." He looked at me and said, "Vault-Tec? Not many people know about them. Let me check if I have any in my store inventory." I nodded as he pulled out his Scroll and tapped on couple things. After a couple minutes, he set the Scroll down and said, "It seems like you're in luck. According to my records, I have one book about the history of Vault-Tec. I also have an old Vault-Tec figurine that's been laying around collecting dust if you want that too." I smiled and said, "I'll take them both." Tukson smiled at me and said, "Great, let me go grab them from the back." I nodded as he went into the back room once more.

As I was waiting, I heard the door open and saw two people my age walk inside. One of them was a girl with medium-brown skin and dark-red eyes. Her hair was a light, mint-green with a straight fringe and bangs as well as two long locks on each side in the back. The other person was a pale boy with gray eyes and gray hair, partially slicked back while unkempt at the front. They were both around my age from what I could tell. I heard ED-E let out a quiet and low toned beep, to which I whispered back and said, "I know. But even if we do feel a bad vibe coming from them, we can't do anything without a valid reason or proof." ED-E beeped in understanding and I heard Tukson say from the back, "Ah, there it is!" He came back out and set both a book and a Vault Boy figurine on the counter.
