Neyudia's POV

Today I had to help ensure that the weapons were in good condition. I finished up started to put all my accessories. I put my bands, necklaces, and weapons on me as I headed out. I was walking out when I heard Aonung's voice

" What's up," said Aonung.

" What do you want," I said to emphasize I wasn't in a mood to talk

" Well I was wondering if you wanted to come hang out with us," he said nervously.

" You know I don't do those."

" Come on, Neyudia, you never catch a break," he said as he grabbed my hand.

I hated physical contact. I was the "closest" to Aonung and Tsireya. But not even they knew about me.

I yanked my hand away.

" I have business to do. See you later Aonung," I said as left.

" Neyudia!", called Tonowari. " Ronal wants to speak with you."

Ronal understood me more than anyone. I was comfortable with her. I wanted to impress her and show her I wasn't a disappointment. She gave me a second chance.

" You asked for me?", I questioned.

" Yes, I wanted to speak to you about the future of our clan. "

She pated the spot in front of her. I put my bow down and sat in front of her.

I want you to be the next Tsahìk," said Ronal.

I was speechless. This was all I ever wanted. All my hard work was paying off. What I was working towards to was finally mine. I'd admit I was proud of myself.

" I'd be honored," I said smiling.

" There is a proposition, however."

I knew it couldn't be that bad. Maybe giving up all my free time but I was willing to do anything. I had nothing to lose anymore.

" You will have to mate with Aonung since he will be the next leader."

My eyes widened.

Didn't think it was that unfortunate.

It's not that he was a bad person but I would have to be vulnerable and have a family with him. I'm going to hate that part.

Neteyam's POV

I sometimes wish Neyudia would also teach us. I had no luck getting to talk to her. The only time I see her is when we have our fight class, but other than that nothing. Every time I would try to reach her she was gone.I didn't know what else to do.

Once we finished our lesson I went back to my marius. My mother looked at me confused, and I knew she would ask me what was wrong. She always knew if something was bothering us which was pretty cool but so fucking annoying.
