Neyudia's POV

I woke up to a massive headache.

Ah fuck.

I stood up and all the memories came flooding back in.

Oh no.

I sat back down to think through what happened last night.

I kissed him. I fucking kissed him!

This was bad, very bad. This wasn't supposed to happen. Did I want it to happen? Yes, but not the point. I was screwed. I was pacing back and forth with my hand in my hair. I knew what I had to do. Pretend nothing happened and that he never existed. I wasn't going to go up to him after what happened.

You have to be joking.

I remembered that the fight session was scheduled today. Eywa is against me today. No big deal, just act like you always do. You're good at that.

No you're not you skwxang! Not when it comes to love situations!

I waited while everyone got into a line and was waiting for me to speak.

"Today we will practice over and over. But also I'm going to show you a move called the tornado kick."

Lo'ak then raised his hand. I rolled my eyes.

He was so annoying sometimes.

"What?"

"What if I am already skilled at that move," said Lo'ak with confidence.

"Well then show the class how it's done then," I said, guiding him to a dummy we had to practice on.

He tried to do the kick but hurt his leg and fell. I couldn't help but let out a chuckle.

"Maybe you should think before you speak now before you embarrass yourself even more," I said as everyone laughed.

I saw Neteyam as Lo'ak walked back and smacked his back. I broke off the eye contact. I faced the dummy and did the tornado kick and the head fell off. Everyone stepped back and gasped.

"Now that's how it's done," I said as I moved my hair aside.

"Your turn now."

I walked by to see if they got the momentum correctly. Some got it, some struggled. I walked by Neteyam not looking at him, nor acknowledging him. I saw that he looked at me with a hurt expression. I gathered the class so we could do it together for it to stick in their heads. They were decent but I guess practice makes improvement. I dismissed the class and saw Neteyam about to head my way as I went through the exit in the back.

I had to stop it here. I didn't want to but I had to.

Neteyam's POV

She was avoiding me.

I knew she didn't mean it.

I was hurt because I thought we did have something but I was wrong. She wasn't going to give in. I was at the rocks and had my hands over my neck. Roxto then came up to sit near me.

"Her?" asked Roxto.

"Mhm."

"We kissed," I said as I rubbed my eyes.

"You're joking!"

"No man and now she's avoiding me," I said.

"Dude, do you not know what that means," said Roxto.
