Neyudia's POV
"What do you think you're doing! Let her go!"
"Neyudia!!"
"It will be okay, mawey!" I said while pointing the arrow to the man.
"Say bye to her, he said."
"NO!"
I gasped as I woke up and felt myself sweating and shaking. I always had nightmares but it didn't make it any easier going through them. I wouldn't be able to sleep most of the time because I knew I would have bad dreams. It was still dark out. I figured there was nothing wrong with setting the stuff earlier for the class. I needed to distract myself from what happened anyway.
I think it's time for them to learn how to fight with weapons.
It's been weeks since Neteyam talked to me. He was the one that wanted to talk to me, yet hasn't said anything to me since. Wait, why do I care?
" Today we will be learning to battle with weapons. Obviously since you knuckleheads will most likely hurt someone I brought in bags to practice on. I will be observing and giving you tips. Now go," I said.
Aonung was just stabbing it.
Oh Great Mother.
" If that was a person, you would be dead," I said as I continued walking.
Lo'ak was decent. He better be considering what's going on between him and Tsireya, he would need to protect her. Kiri was practicing with her bow and I could see her struggling.
" I can see you haven't hit a perfect target so in order to get that. Do your form," I said, as I pushed her arms downward.
" Your arms are not strong and you need to breathe from your stomach. You need to focus," I said.
" Now shoot!", I yelled.
She got a perfect shot. Got to say I'm a pretty good teacher.
" I did it! Thank you Neyudia," said Kiri.
" No need to be thankful but remember that every time. Practice makes improvement."
As I was walking by I noticed him. Neteyam. Had to admit he was a good fighter. Good form, fast, and knew what to do. His only weakness was getting distracted.
He turned around to see who was watching him. He turned back to the punching bag.
He sure did look good punching that bag.
As I was about to walk off.
" So I guess it's a no then," he said.
" Never said that. I wasn't going to come looking for you. You wanted to get to know me, you better get ready to fail."
He stepped forward chuckling and then looked at me.
