'I Found You'

It's never a question of why we exist,
As the sky turns grey and my heart stays the same,
I never thought a broken soul can be fixed like this,
Not knowing the reason why I turned my head when they call out your name.

The cold of the summer made me realised,
How your  voice was still burnt in the back of my mind,
Like a thirst can't be quenched or a starve  can't be satisfied,
The thought of you made my head hurt but my heart felt fine.

Your eyes that lit up even the stars can't compare,
Your laugh that sounded warm even in the winter cold,
Your smile made me melt no matter how long,I would just stare,
Your face that speaks a thousand words, revealing a love story unfolds.

I didn't know I could find peace in someone before I found you,
The way you keep me safe and the way you make me smile too,
Even in the worst scenarios, your heart will I choose,
No matter where I go,forever I do.

I wish I could freeze time, perfectly capturing your image with your heart that is kind,
Keeping your soul calm, giving you the love you never had,
You're the one I'm praying for as the universe seems to align,
When I thought no one would care, your presence made me glad.

I wish for the ocean to part,
And I wish I could walk through the dark,
A hurricane in my mind and a war in my heart,
But you are there as my light, my spark, my sword and my ark.

Seems like love was the thing we hunt,
We'll make our vows,'till death do us apart,
With our promise, together makes us one,
And with our love, with pure and sacred hearts.
