'Under The Weather'

Hiding my heart in the chamber,
In which the key I told you to hold,
When I said I'll never be as good as her,
The bitter truth and words that came out cold.

I keep wandering under you spell,
It hurt to see you like this, it hurt to even let you go,
Your soul I tried to trade, mine I tried to sell,
But the star said no, and the moon said so.

Damaging my lungs with the cigarettes I inhale,
Agoraphobia in me keeps on growing, it was scary I couldn't tell,
I keep hiding myself, feel like I'm living in hell,
No one cares, I'm in a fever from which I'll never get well.

Your smell still lingers in my bedsheets,
And your shadow still haunts my every step,
When I lost you, I lost my light and also my heat,
I'm drowned in my thoughts, struggling to call for help.

It was killing me just to smile,

The courage and strength I try to gather,
T

his town I try to leave, even just a few miles,

Maybe I'm out of my mind or maybe I'm just under the weather.
