'You and Me Against The World'

My hands were warmed as they snuggled in yours,
One more squeeze and I knew what it was for,
Our direction was straight towards the light source,
I wish to know your heart even more.

You were stepping on the pedal as the wind brush my skin,
My eyes were your earth, your eyes were my sky,
Dominos of trees and roads that were vast made you look like a film scene,
My high heels were on your backseat and my hat was flying high.

The books, mine was red as yours was blue,
On the dashboard next to your cigars,
Our cash in various colours but I only see you,
No one cares about the moon if we see our dancing stars.

Your jacket wrapped me loosely like your kiss lingers on my lips,
Your words were echoing in my ears,
"You and me against the world" replaying like video clips,
"'Till the end of the time", I made it loud and clear.

Your touch haunted my nightmare,
And your warmth became my daydream,
Your heart became my lair,
Your voice became my lullaby, I deemed.

The faith that I sealed with each of your kiss,
Your promise was like two sided of a sword,
One that can stab me to kill and one that can stab them to bliss,
I wrapped my hand in my locket carved in your initial that you adored.

"Did we make a wrong choice?" My question made you smile,
"As long as I'm with you, nothing will go wrong",
"I don't care if we got lost in a labyrinth or if it was a lie",
His voice played the alluring chords that became my favourite song.

I can never fight my infatuation,
Betrayal doesn't have any meaning when we were running away,
The constellation in your eyes are marking our indecisive location,
Nothing else matters, I will be home wherever you stray.
