'His Treachery'

There you were pouring out your sincerest heart regrets,
While I was pouring out the whiskey miserably in my head,
Thinking about the reason you kept pouring out your love on the wrong people,
And not realising I was pouring out my effort to get you out of trouble.

They told me your mental was a cage,
In which the dove that you killed fills me with rage,
My eagle that you caught with your lies,
While letting out the raven you love freely fly.

Tell me why your gun that was mine aimed at me,
I once caught a bullet for you without any doubt nor any plea,
Instead of being bulletproof your bullet pierced through my chest,
Never thought of the moment when it'd be me that you shoot and detest.

Now I'll be haunting all of your breath and regrets,
Being the ghost to your dusk and sunset,
My death conveys the clarity of your intention,
Keeping my tomb open for a son that was once abandoned.

Even when you were looking up to finally move on,
Deep down you know it'll never be the same now that I'm gone,
Lost in haze of betrayal which left you dismay,
Moved on but I'm still right where you killed me twice that day.

Your revengeful puppy started to rip you apart,
You never thought the one that you cared would break your heart,
But you were the one biting the hand that once fed you,
When you said it was killing you alive, wouldn't it be killing me too?
