Chapter 15

Suddenly, a bunch of screaming little t-shirt kids came running in front of Broberg. Then they stopped and started hula dancing. They were perfectly in sync. It was weird. Then the mailman came back in and set down a dairy queen cake on the floor. Everyone dropped their torches to go eat it.  Broberg apparently had a fork in his car and he inched forward to try and sneak in a bite of the cake, but Rachel pulled out a gun and said "no."  Broberg backed away. He was scared. Everyone laughed at him.  "You have five days..."  Broberg growled at everyone as he left. Everyone was too busy eating cake to care about what he said. After a while, it started raining zucchini and that was when everyone snapped out of the daze they were in. They realized that the room was on fire!  They must have accidentally lit the floor on fire when they dropped their torches!  As if they weren't in enough trouble already!  High from the cake, everyone started panicking.  Maggie tried to lick the fire to put it out, but it didn't work.  Maggie tumbled backwards, half laughing and half crying.  Rachel tried to shoot the fire, but that didn't work either, because Jackie was on the other side of the flames waving zucchini in the air, and the bullet hit her zucchini and the zucchini flew back and hit Jackie in the eye.  Jackie curled up in a ball, crying.  Alyssa tried blowing on the fire, which of course did not help.  It spread even further.  Foamy was trying to think of what to do when she came to a realization.  "Hey guys, why don't we just get out of here?  We have to escape anyway if we don't want to get nuked!"  Everyone turned and stared at Foamy for a while and their wheels were a'turnin.'  Everyone's eyes widened at the exact same time and they said in unison, "Ohhhhh yeahhhhh!  Let's go!"  They started skipping out the door when something stopped them, or rather someone.  Broberg?  No, it was a robot!  But he looked and sounded exactly like Broberg!  He even acted like Broberg!  This was too weird.  The robot was about 12 feet tall and 30 feet across.  It was huge.  There was no way they were getting out now!  What were they going to do?
