Chapter 9

The liquid kept trickling through Alyssa's bloodstream.  It was almost gone when Jimmy's phone rang very loudly in his pocket.  Jimmy flew backwards, sending the syringe soaring through the air.  Everyone ducked and covered.  The syringe landed in Charlie's eye.  He screamed and his eye started bulging out until it was the size of a basketball.  Embarrassed, Jimmy's face turned red and he laughed nervously.  Jackie was horrified at the sight of Charlie's eye.  She turned to face Jimmy.  She was sooooooo angry.  "HOW DARE YOU HURT MY BOYFRIEND LIKE THAT????"  Jackie got up from her duck and cover position and started beating Jimmy up with zucchini.  Foamy and Rachel pulled Jackie off of Jimmy.  Jackie was still very angry, so Rachel and Foamy injected her with a sedative so she would go nigh-night.  They covered Jackie up with blankies and helped Jimmy up off the floor.  No one was sure what to do after that, so there was an awkward silence.  Then, there were some weird noises.  Alyssa was on the ground contorting herself into weird positions and screaming.  "WITCHCRAFT!!!"  Everyone screamed.  Everyone ran around screaming until Alyssa's voice became louder and more normal sounding.  "Guys!  Shut up, you're being loud!"  Alyssa yelled, and Rachel, Foamy and Jimmy stopped running around and screaming.  Alyssa was back to normal!  Yay!  Two down, two to go!  "IT WORKED!"  Jimmy yelled and jumped up and down.  "Now we have to find more of that!"  yelled Rachel as she began rummaging around for more sane potion.  She found another syringe and handed it to Jimmy.  "Is this the right potion?"  "I don't know, let me take out Google Translate."  Jimmy typed the words into the translator and translated it to Japanese.  The writing translated to, "Potion to become sane again after being captured by some creepy physics teacher, locked in a sketchy physics place, and brainwashed into loving physics."  "If this isn't the right potion, I'm retiring," said Jimmy as he put his phone away and removed the syringe's cap.  He injected it into Maggie.  Maggie started puking out kindergarten paper.  Concerned, everyone screamed and ran around again.  Maggie then told everyone to shut up.  She was normal again!  Three down, one to go!  However, Charlie seemed to be irreversible.  His condition was the worst.  One of his eyes was the size of a basketball, the other one was normal sized but super bloodshot.  His skin had turned from green to purple, and the bottoms of his feet were rotting away.  Maggie, Alyssa, Rachel, Foamy, and Jimmy thought about what they were going to do about Charlie when they heard some grunting noises coming from the floor.  Jackie was awake, but she couldn't get up because she kept slipping on zucchini.  Concerned, Charlie rushed over to help Jackie up.  Wait, Charlie?  I thought he was insane.  Well, sometime over the course of those few seconds when the attention was on Jackie, Charlie had become normal again!  Yay!  Four down, none to go.  Jackie ran over and hugged Charlie.  "I missed you so much!  Your eye is better and you look normal!  Yay!"  Charlie and Jackie made out, and everyone screamed, "EW!" in their best Sara voices.  Jimmy laughed and clapped his hands.  Jackie's face turned bright red.  The seven friends laughed even harder.  Then Foamy and Jackie showed everyone the fun room, and they all hung out in there, celebrating their newfound normalness when Foamy, Jackie and Jimmy all realized something.  The experiment.  It was ruined and they couldn't finish it.  They had to get out of here.  The three of them looked at each other.  They were about to tell the others when they heard someone enter.  If it was Broberg, they were doomed.
