Over the red sky of mars a ship was spotted heading to the red planet it had recently come back as a result of Savathun's ship and throne world but something was strange the vanguard didn't have time to check it out but there were rifts popping out all over the planet the ship pulled up to one of the rifts being transmated out the guardian spoke "huh what do you think is it Sam?" The hunter asked, the ghost in question materialized and started scanning the rift "it's some kind of energy not unlike a slip space jump's energy." Sam explained her strangely Australian accent coming out the guardian put his hand to his chin in contemplation "strange you think it had to do with mars coming back?" The hunter inquired the ghost spun her shell "most likely, it's strange though it's not of darkness Ezra." Sam explained causing the guardian Ezra to tilt his head in confusion "how is that, the darkness is the reason Mars went away?" He asked as he reached out to touch the rift with his finger "I'm not sure but- hey don't touched that Ez!" Sam yelled scolding her guardian "what, where's your sense of adventure Sam?" Ezra asked his ghost who just bumped into his helmet fairly hard knocking him off balance.
The ghost made a huffing noise obviously annoyed at her guardian, Ezra chuckled amused "come little light we have another at the other side of this Traveler forsaken planet." Ezra said as the ghost transmated him and herself to the ship to begin flying to the other side of the planet to find this other rift it didn't take too long about a minute and they were there. From the ship they could tell something was up "strange storms like this didn't happen on mars before right?" Ezra asked out loud seeing the lighting flash below them "let's be careful who knows what could happen." Sam advised as Ezra brought the ship down "land just outside the storm we'll be able to use a sparrow to get the rest of the way there." Sam said Ezra nodded as he started to get closer to the ground when suddenly his ship started setting off an alert he looked to Sam who was scanning the status panel "Sam what's going on?" Ezra asked as suddenly the control's locked making the fall anxiety inducing "we are being pulled towards the storm!" Sam exclaimed in a panic Ezra attempted to eject himself from his ship but to no effect "oh for traveler's- Sam send out a mayday signal!" Ezra exclaimed as they noticed that they were slowly slipping into slip space Ezra tried to stop the process but found it impossible to stop the launch "Brace for drop!" He yelled realizing he couldn't stop it the ship suddenly accelerated entering the rift and sending them away.
Scene change
Out on the planet of Lothal it was calm well as calm as an empire controlled planet could be when suddenly a sudden crash of thunder was heard and a strange ship popped out of seemingly nowhere crashing into the sands the cockpit opened revealing Ezra and his ghost "well we certainly have had worse." Sam said as the two exited the wreck "Sam mark this spot and activate the stealth drive." Ezra said staring at the wrecked Accipiter "should I take out the controls you added?" Sam asked Ezra took a second before nodding "yeah would be bad if someone was able to fly this away from us." He admitted before taking a look at his surroundings "now where are we?" He asked looking around seeing nothing but desert for miles and miles "well I guess we should start heading in a direction." Sam said transmating his sparrow next to her guardian Ezra hopped on riding in the west direction.
Timeskip
Ezra finally found a city after hours on the desert plains a few guards guarding the place he watched for a bit noticing they had people paying a toll to come in he scoffed at the idea of paying to get in. He had Sam switching his subclass over to night stalker before he picked out a smoke bomb, throwing it at his feet going invisible. Ezra used his double jump to get up on one of the nearby buildings before going to the ground in the city he made sure Sam transmated his armor off and replacing it with his luxe chest piece his counturier grips, renegade cloak and no helmet as to blend in 'stay out of sight little light.' Ezra thought to Sam who went into her pocket dimension he reappeared in a nearby alleyway he began his walk through the city hearing the bustle of the city reminded him of the last city he noticed that different species around the city some like reptiles some like furry animals and humans living together his raven hair fluttered in the sand filled wind 'Ezzy you need to cut that rat's nest of a hairdo you have.' He heard his ghost say to his mind he chuckled 'not in a million years Sam.' Ezra thought walking down the dust covered path nightfall was coming soon Ezra decided to look around for any abandoned buildings when his blue eyes settled on a tower he smirked and made his way towards it. Along the way he saw more of those white armored people following a grey suited man they took one look at the guardian "you boy I haven't see you around here your Identification card please." The grey suited man ordered causing Ezra to tilt his head then patted his pockets before throwing a smoke bomb to his feet disappearing from sight all the while the official coughed the two guards aimed towards the smoke not expecting the hunter to be gone.
Ezra leaned against an amplifier of sorts looking at the commotion below him "I WANT THAT CHILD FOUND TROOPER?!" The suited man said Ezra watched the man stomp and scream he turned taking the rooftops to the tower he spotted "Ezra." Sam started materializing beside him Ezra looked to the ghost "we got a problem, we aren't anywhere near the Sol System." The ghost said causing the hunter to roll his eyes "yeah I kinda guessed that when I saw new species around the city." Ezra acknowledged double jumping across a rooftop getting closer to the tower "no I mean that we are nowhere near the Sol System!" Sam exclaimed in panic Ezra's eyes widened "well shank, what do we do?" Ezra asked climbing down the rooftop to what seemed to be a runway that led to the city Ezra had Sam transmat his sparrow to make the short distance to the outside of the tower "I suggest we start earning some money to get back home." Sam suggested Ezra nodded speeding over to the tower when he got there he summoned Sam back out who hacked the door open they made their way up to get to a railing around an area to rest in.
Ezra couldn't sleep he decided to stay up for a bit that night watched what went down in the city he had Sam materialize whisper of the worm looking through the scope watching as troopers and their suited handlers kick in doors and tearing people out of their homes it disgusted the hunter he contemplated pulling the trigger and blowing this soldier's head off he refrained thinking it would bring unwanted company before sitting against the wall "first things first, Sam find some work we could do preferably anything to mess with those troops down there." Ezra said setting his rifle down "I'm going to catch some Z's let me know if anything happens." He continued closing his eyes to rest for the rest of the day.
